Check to find where power goes in, and look at the voltage. Look around your house for extra cords that have this voltage. If you can't find any, look online like eBay for a cord for it.

What happens if spark plug is not gapped

No. You replaced the plug, so it's likely that you didn't properly reattach the plug wire inside the boot and the vibration pulled it away and it lost connection.

Won't start but cranks has 300k miles. Check fuel pump working, replace glow plugs, checked fuses and relays, fuel pump won't come on but works hooked it direct to battery, wait to start light does not...

If you can't pull the codes from the pcm it has either died or lost it's ground assuming it has power. I would try to get a wiring diagram and check both the power and the ground for the computer itself, because it is what turns on the pump and the wait to start light.

After using the ihome system, model# iH70S, the ipod was taken from the power source. After dying completely and being slightly recharged, I noticed it was reset to default memory. No one deleted it, how...

The ipod should not have lost its music due to low battery as it shuts down before that happens. I'm guessing you already tried fully recharging and re-syncing the ipod to your library and you're good to go again, but now you're wondering why you lost the music to begin with. I bought two of these iH70S units and love them, but one just quit on me. It won't charge, none of the buttons do anything and the green "sync" LED on top stays on all the time. I took it apart and desoldered the sync button from the circuit board thinking that maybe the switch failed closed and since I never used the sync feature I could just remove it. No such luck - the switch was fine. Must be some component failure in the circuit board. This does not sound exactly like what happened in your case, but maybe there's a defect in the sync circuit that (for me) makes the unit think the sync button is always pressed or (for you) syncs your ipod to whatever is connected, which is nothing, causing your memory to sync to nothing, i.e. reset. Not a solution per se, but take it for what it's worth. I'm going to look around for spare parts for my unit...good luck!

While replacing the LCD screen on a cq60, I removed two plugs from the LAN card. What are they connected to? I lost them.

These plugs are connected to a black and a white (tan) wire. These wires lead through the hinges of the screen assembly and attach to metal clips at the top of the display under the bezel. These are the wireless antenna leads. The card itself will have the words main and aux. on it along with a small triangle that is either black or white, this is color coded to the proper wire at its connection.

Cord replacement

If the break is near the plug, cut it and put a new plug on (three prong if the original is, two otherwise). If the break is too close to the cabinet, you'll need to replace the whole wire with something of suitable size (remember, this is probably a 1000-1500 watt appliance!). Opening the cabinet shouldn't be too difficult and if you replace one wire at a time, you can't get lost. You may need to cut the wire short of a junction of several wires (better than cutting all of them and wiring them in to a new junction with a wire connector). I would tend to solder the wires you've just connected, although many would suggest those screw on wire connectors. A lot has to do with how much room you have in the cabinet. If you aren't at all mechanically inclined, get a friend to do it. Or buy a new unit (a last resort in THIS household and not used until the unit is thoroughly unusable!).
