Cannot find where to get replacement tubes that enclose the heating elements of our Braun Type 4107. Both tubes broke after a few months of use. Toaster was handled with care but I cannot say it was k

For a few months this toaster worked fine. Then one tube broke spontaneously but the toaster still toasted more or less evenly, as the broken enclosure tube sagged only a bit. While looking for a repair station or parts vendor, at one point I reached in to touch (VERY lightly) the yet unbroken enclosure tube to try and get a feel for the material. The moment the tip of my finger lightly grazed the unbroken tube, that tube also broke. Thanks for your help. Simon & Shirley Lewenstein JPT Graphics, Inc. 212 W Irving Blvd. Irving, TX 75060-2919

SOURCE: tfal 2-slice toaster repair

look inside your toaster. there must be something inside it turn it down and see if something comes out.. if nothing is inside then try to see if the cord that you switched on is not broken. if you see a liitle bit scratch mark on it- switch off. You can get a electric shock. it is your favorite toaster so try to consult a electricion to fix the cord for you.

SOURCE: The heating element doesn't work in two of the slots.

If its a Dualit model then you should be able to get it repaired. Generally replacing parts on a Dualit is not easy but spares are usually available thanks to the fact that its one of the most well known commercial toasters on the market. Google and see if there's a repairer in your area.

SOURCE: Russell Hobbs RH2T toaster bread won't stay down w/o hold handle

Hi, most new toaster have a selenoid that hold down the handle while toasting then release when done so a spring bring the toast up. Possible problem with the selenoid, the electronic circuit that controls it or the plate that the selenoid holds. When you lower the handle you close the contacts of the AC line inside the toaster so if the handle is raised there is no power.

SOURCE: Back to Basics TEM-500 toaster no longer heats up

We have the same problem after only about 20 uses. The customer service number is 1-800-688-1989...we may be able to get it replaced. If they aren't willing to do anything, I'm thinking of filing a complaint with our state Attorney General because there are SO MANY complaints of the SAME, idential problem from thousands of consumers!!!!

SOURCE: Our 4-slice toaster (model 4cbc) is only toasting

Inside your toaster there are eight heating element plates six in the center and one in left end and one in right end.
Just switch on the toaster without any bread at maximum time and visualy inspect to see which side is becoming red and which not. Then you need to replace the element plates you see that they don't become red.
Remember that the two in center are the same called "CENTER" and the other two on ends are the same called "END"
They can easily be removed if you remove the bottom panel.
Good Luck

without a technician being there to diagnose, here are a few things to research and could be easy fixes for you? don't know how comfortable you are to diy.?? But you did ask here at fixya.

  • possible bad heater elements x 2
    • if you replace one, replace both.
  • possible that your Dip tube - feed/mix tube broke?
    • its a long plastic x 4.5" or so tube
    • very easy to replace. Cold water inlet side
  • thermostat (s) are possibly failing, you can turn one or both up a click or two?
See pic below: the different parts of the heater are labeled on the left side of the example.

Replacing heating element in Kenmore model 110.65922

The heating element will have multiple coils to it with two leads coming into it. POS/NEG. If that is it then it is very strange that it is not enclosed in some way shape or form.

there is a number on the heating element, the model of your toaster oven should be on the backside of the unit itself, armed with this info, you should be able to find a replacement element

I have a frigidaire gleq2152es1 that keeps blowing heating elements, what is the cause?

Are you re-stringing the element? if so you need to make sure you have no gaps in the element.

Wd51 drying not heating

there are a few things that can cause the dryer to not heat there is a one time thermal fuse that can blow causing the heating element to not function . one cause of this thermal fuse to blow (in this case heat) would be the lint in the dryer vent tube it clogs the tube then the heat builds up by the heating element and blows the resistor this is very common . One other problem that can occur is the heating element could get burnt out and short out .after some years of use the wire come out of its normal shape and move around and eventually touch the side of the metal housing causing the element to open or break. you can check out this site www.repairclinic.com and put in your model number and find the thermal fuse kit should cost around 22$ the heating element can be from 60 -180$ depending on what type of dryer you have

Hi my dryer is only just over 1 year old so of course warrenty is up and it wont heat. it runs and circulates but no heat, my husband cleaned out the vent tube what else can we do?? it cant be major its...

it could be the heating element even though it is just over a year old, i have seen heating elements go out on 3 month old dryers, it also could be a thermostat the best thing to do is make sure it is getting the full 220 volts going to it, if it only has 110 volts the motor will run and have no heat and vise versa, then if that is good get to the heating element and look it over real good most of the time the heating coil will be broke into it wont look burnt just broke

I have the same problem and even though I was able to disassemble the unit + get to the heating element, I fear I won't ever find a replacement part. Element is def bad; checked w/ohm meter across element - OPEN.
Like everything else we buy, coffee makers are throwaways when they fail so no one sells repair parts.

Problem shaving

People, never ever buy the Braun body cruzer!!!! It does not mather which version/type you buy, with 'all' versions the big trimmer fails to work after aprox, 18-24 months.

I have bought three version of them, the first one stopped working totally after about a year. With the second one the large trimmer blade did not work anymore, so I bought the newest cruzer version (shaver #3 by then) in the hope Braun would have solved this problem. But NO, the same thing happend. After 18 months the trimmer is broke and I can throw my shaver in the bin because you buy this thing for the trimmer.

Now about 3 years later I have in total bought 3 cruzer shavers from Braun and all are broke (i am also almost broke, those things are pretty expensive here). And of course Braun does not help, they just say you are beyond warranty or did not take good care of the product. But I did, I keeped it clean with the little brushes, I put oil on blades/parts, and when I had shaved in the shower I made dry.... so I wonder what Braun means with "taking good care for your product" but i think they mean something like: buy a new one and give us some more of your money.

I will NEVER buy a Braun product again! And be warned people, don't say you where not warned for this product when you buy one and is goes broke within a year.
