Buy input jack active model BX 4210A

Contact Behringer to get part number FIRST, then go to this website to see if they have it available. http://www.dbmproaudio.com/behrparts.html

It should be a standard 1/4" mono jack, so you can always go somewhere like Radio Shaft or PartsExpress.com and get one. You certainly don't 'HAVE' to get a certified Behringer part for this. Good luck! :)

I turn on the amp (Behringer Ultrabass BHX1800) and there is a large popping sound but then I have no sound output from either the jack inputs or the composite stereo inputs! before I take it apart, does...

I suggest you look for a new amp. My husband has had these apart and parts are almost impossible to find. One part took over 6 months to get.

That said you can look at the Jacks... they break a lot.

The input jack on the back of my behringer cabinet and the active input jack in the front of head have both cracked and separated. The Quarter inch cords for each respective input jack do not stay in. What...

The jacks have to be replaced. If you are not adept at repair, best to take it to a shop for the repair. Do NOT use the unit till repaired. If the jack shorts you may damage your amplifier.

It has no power..... my 9v. adapter was no problem ...

Common problem is the power input jack breaks away from the circuit board or the board cracks in the vicinity of the jack Open and inspect the area where power jack solders to the board.

Input has shorted. Cant figure out how to take this amp apart.

There are USUALLY 4 screws in dress washers on the top... AND hidden are two for the handle that also grab the amp. Sometimes there are caps over the ends of the handle thaat have to be snapped off... they can be a pain to get off. I believe the amp portion slides out the back... Thhere is twwo wires under the amp that go through a hole to go to the speaker... be careful they are short and they MAY have a ferrite donut around them... It is usually a fight to get them free and even worse when reassemblling to get them back on... AND they put hot melt glue on the connector in the amp... You have to carefully release that...I have a BX1200 and have had it apart once for repair... Input shorted? You mean the input power or the input audio jack... if the latter, let me guess... somebody tripped over the guitar cable... happens all the time... that is why we loop the cable through the handle to avoid breaking the inout connectors.
I am not sure how you analyzed the input audio connector is shorted... these jacks are JUNK and easily broken. If the input POWER is shorted, or appears to be shorted, it may be deeper than the power supply... USUALLY one of the amp chips is shorted.

Here is the service manual for the BX1200 which should be similar... they may have paralleled another LM3886 to get the 180 watts.

Hello! I recently bought used Behringer EQ 700, but it's not working. Baterry is ok, the red ligh is burning, when I press the pedal, but no sound is coming through, even when its not on. What could be...

The red light means NOTHING regarding the battery condition... If battery is not new, try a new one.

I have seen several problems... some people get the cables backwards for input and output. The INPUT cable is what turns on the battery and it has to be a mono cable.

ANOTHER common problem with ABUSED pedals is that the jack used for external power adapter gets smashed at some point and cracks the circuit board near it. USUALLY the light will not come on when this happens.

Byond this, it probably requires repair. Some are easy to open and others are a bear to get the circuit board out... key is to NOT force very much when working on these.
