Check the vent hose and the vent in the house for dryer lint. Excessive amounts will block airflow and the dryer senses that and shuts off the heat to prevent a fire.

Hi, Well if it is getting hot but not drying the clothes than most likely you have an airflow problem. Take off the vent hose on the back of the dryer. It will be plugged up with lint either inside that vent on the dryer or the hose will be plugged somewhere. If you clean this or just plain replace the old hose this will take care of the problem. Disconnect the vent at the back of the dryer and dry a load unvented to make sure you don't have a clog in the vent line too the outside causing an air flow restriction, if still not drying check and make sure the blower wheel that circulates the heat inside the dryer isn't broken.

Could be that the belt has gone. I think it does one cycle, then when it tries to reverse it gives the F-08 error and stops - and I think it cuts the heat out for safety.
