SOURCE: Garmin nuvi 1350 can't find signal

Fist you should travel around with it, and see if in a different area you get satellites.

It could be where you are at, so this does not mean that in another town or state it won't work.

If you try this and still have problems it could be the unit and you should contact the MFG and send it in for repair.

This is the contact support page I posted below if you need it, its a live link so if you click on it the page will open.;jsessionid=0D1782886E6A3CF9512F8AEE898B8248

Yes it is repairable. What need to be done is that you get the connector port replaced. It is quite technical, so with a technical hand, you will be able to do the job effectively. You get a replacement charging port, then you open up the device and replace the charging port.

Before you do that, try to use another charging cord to see if it will be loose, if it is not loose, try to replace your charging cord instead, but if it is loose, then you have to change the connection port of the gps.

SOURCE: My garmin 1350 will not

If your positive its fully charged then contact garmin tech support. You can contact them here through there website If your unit has some type of warranty on it they will fix it for free. If not they may charge you to check it out and then advise you the cost of the repairs. It may be as simple as a bad battery but its not something I would suggest you replace you may damage the unit even more.

I hope this helps you out if so please leave me some positive feedback.

My garmin in nuvi 1350 will not charge it keeps saying the battery is low

Nuvi 1350 charges in 4 to 8 hours. If your Nuvi is not accepting a charge, you may have a loose or bad USB cable. Note that the Nuvi can be charged with a phone charger. Charging it with a connection to a computer moves charging time toward 8 hours and more towards infinity if you don't have the driver installed on the computer. Turn the Garmin off. If the driver ins installed in the coputer, plug the Garmin into the computer and then hold down the power button on the Garmin for 30 seconds.

How do i get my computer to see my 1350 garmin nuvi?

The problem could be the computer's USB port or the cable. Make sure that you aren't connecting to a USB hub or a dock. Try a different USB A to mini-USB cable (match the number of pins and shape of the mini USB connector). Try installing the Garmin Agent software manually from .

Make sure that the Nuvi 1350 is fully charged. Disconnect the USB cable from the computer and turn off the Nuvi. Then turn it back on. Reconnect the cable to the computer at a different USB port. (If you are using a front port, try one of the back ports. Do not just switch to a top or bottom port since every pair of ports share a controller.) If you are using Windows, check if the Nuvi is listed as a mass storage device (press the Windows key + E or double-left click on the My Computer (Computer) icon). Recent security changes prevent USB devices from triggering the Auto-play feature on Windows. (You can change this from the Control Panel in the Hardware section for AutoPlay.)

Next try using a different computer if you can. If the Garmin Nuvi correctly communicates with the second machine, you may want to check the USB controller. Go to the Device Manager (from the Control Panel under Hardware) and expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers. You can remove the driver or check for updates. (Check for updates manually from the computer manufacturer as well.) Reboot the computer and check if the ports work. Check if other USB devices work on those ports. USB ports can fail. Sometimes, you might notice a device getting hot while connected to a failing port. Other times, the port just isn't getting enough power. Check if the power supply is sufficient for the number of devices both inside (hard drives, video card, etc.) and externally connected to the computer.

I hope this helps.

Why does myGarmin 1350 keep losing external power and shutting down, then restart, sometimes losing current destination info, sometimes not.

Major problem with the Nuvi 13xx series as well as the 11xx, 12xx & 14xx series is a loose/broken USB jack in the back which is preventing power from remaining constant into the unit. This will also prevent the internal battery from being charged. We can repair this issue and reinforce the jack. Please see this link for more information:

Unit will not come on

Most issues causing this is a bad charger, dead battery or caused by a loose USB port in the back. If the port is loose, the battery will not be charged and won't even work when connected to an external charger. More info can be found here:
