I have a vauxhall astra 51 plate .. Mk4 I took the old head unit out plugged mine in ... Worked fine Then I pushed my head unit back in the slot it just stoped Checked fuses all fine chead old head

With out doubt it is the Indicator Flash Unit (Found near fuses) its a plug type box. you pull it out, plug in new one and it works. (Kinda looks like a strange adaptor plug you would put in a power socket.

i think vauxhall used the canbust system on this car and you cant cut into the wiring m8 you can buy a repair kit from internet but it might be expensive

vauxhaul asta ,nice wheels but not hydraulic adjusters ,you got the tappets mixed up and now they will need resetting with shims ,always paint the numbers on top after lifting the cam off .i have one of these cars a gti 1994 model and i can still burn off from the lights BMW 3 series.

rev engine upto 3500 and hold it for 20 secs or so the hydrolic tappets should then reset...
