Your auto defrost is not working. remove the rear assembly inside the freezer and melt any builtup ice with a hair dryer. Then check the defrost heater and the defrost thermostat. If OK then check the defrost timer located either in the fridge compartment behind the temp control or under fridge in frount behind grill. A continuity test is good for timer contacts. Heater is typ. 30 - 40 ohms. Thermostat will read short short below 35 degrees and open above 45 degrees. Timer motor winding has a series capacitor and must be tested as such. Watch out for stalled or slow running motors that look OK. PS. : QUICK TEST - The timer can be turned with a screw driver through a service access hole. With the back - of - freezer plate off turn timer till it clicks and you hear compressor turn off, this is the defrost cycle (7-10min). Use it to see if the heater is getting hot.

2 things could be the problem.. 1 check to see if the fan located on the temp. setting control assembly is working. If this fan is not on the fridge will not cool. if the fan isn't working replace it and problem should be taken care of. If fan is working then your defroster is out.. You can tell if defroster is out due to the big chunk of ice in space between the fridge and freezer where the fan is also located. Parts can be purchased at an appliance parts houseand aren't that hard to install. Good Luck

That is the first sign of not defrosting. Look into the rear panel in back of freezer and see if frost is forming on that back panel. If yes then you will need to unplug and remove that panel to inspect the defrost heater and defrost thermostat. If they check out then we need to inspect both sides of the mother control board for burn marks or signs of heat damage. The 1467835 Control Board is located on the back and enclosed inside a plastic housing. The same circuit board also list as part number 241511101 Check the freezer first to see if the defrost heater may be bad. Need an OHM meter and take one wire off of one end to test. I will walk you through this if you want, Sea Breeze

No, the compressor does not have a manual reset switch on it. The first thing to do would be to check the breaker or fuse box. Make sure everything is on. Then with a voltmeter, check the wall outlet to make sure you have power. If you do have power and the refrigerator isn't turning on at all, you may have to have someone with electrical experience take a look at it.

Tips for a great answer:
Hello friend, thank you for your post!
I understand that your evaporator fan keeps starting and stopping on your Frigidaire refrigerator, PLHS267ZCB2. It sounds like it could be an issue within the fan or control panel. Since it could be any one of these underlying issues I would recommend having a technician come out to properly diagnose your appliance. -Matt
