Integrated video is not available if a graphics card is installed. Integrated graphics using nVidia GeForce Up to 256MB (with 512MB or more system memory) =You can add a new video card= Also supports PCI Express x16 graphics cards*

SOURCE: Blank screen or vertical colored lines on monitor

sounds like a graphics card failing

is it on board graphics ?

if so try a graphics card in there see if that helps it

also if you could borrow a monitor and see if that helps

its either one or the other and is a process of elimination

It sounds like your Sega CD may have finally kicked the bucket. I would suggest taking apart and doing a real good cleaning. It might not help, but couldn't hurt.

Shuts down after start up

Computer does not boot up The problem maybe the RAM, it is faulty or just needs reseating to make proper electrical contact.
Reseat the RAM and then boot up your laptop. If it still does not boot up then remove the RAM module/s and take them to your friendly computer repair shop and get them to test the RAM for you. Just like you sometimes need a mechanic to repair your car, sometimes you do need a technician to diagnose and identify the fault or faults on your computer. Not only does a good service technican have the experience to deal with this type of problem, they also have the equipment that allows them to look at things the average computer user can't see, and he has a collection of replacement parts that can be used to quickly test individual components on your computer.

same problem, broke my screen, ordered a new screen off ebay and replaced it. now it works fine most of the time but sometimes external display freezes. sometimes goes black, sometimes goes multicolor pixelated (full screen, in blocks, or lines) when this happens sometimes touchpad still works, others not. removing battery usualy temporarily fixes.
