Can't Program Channels In Philips 32HF7544D/27 LCD TV

I have a Philips LCD TV Model number 32HF7544D/27,and I can't seem to get it to where I can program the channels.I have a Enseo HD1000 tuner that came with the TV.It is supose to have a NTSC tuner built into it,but I can't seem to get it to where I can get the channels to show up.In the manual it shows that you can get into the TV setup menu by pushing the F button on the RC2573GR remote, but the only menus I can get into is the standard menu by pushing menu on the standard remote, and the internal TV setup menu by putting the TV in ITV mode by punching in a code, and pushing M on the RC2573GR remote. The code for the regular remote doesn't work.In the regular menu under install all it does is scan channel 0,and show a bar going accross the screen showing the MHZ. counting up.I'm guessing it is HD "Air" mode looking for an HD antenna? In the regular comsumer mode setup it doesn't give me a choice of cable,or air.I talked to the Philips company commercial division, and they told me that some of the menus are missing, and that I needed to have the TV reflashed. They also said that the only people that have the tool is them.Is there a way to reset the TV without having it reflashed? All the other functions seem alright. Please let me know if any of you can help.Any help is greatly appreciated.Thank You very much!

SOURCE: no tv signal on my olevia 232-s12

cable or Ant.. ? after the scan if there is no channels found (0 digital, 0 analog) then try with cable or Ant to see if any of them work.. if they still don't pick up any channels and the whole yellow progress line goes across.. then it sounds like the tuner on the tv is bad.. and the tuner is part of the main-board so the whole main-board will have to be exchange or repair.. contact Amergence technology they are a 3rd party repair center that service Olevia TV's and they will be able to give you an idea on the repair cost..

SOURCE: Need remote code for Bresnan Cable 5-1 remote for Sharp 32" LCD

Apparently I didn't read the directions for code search closely enough (as it does work for my tv). So I will post them here, just to be sure people don't make the same mistake I did.

With the Device on;
1) Press "TV" on the remote control
2) Press and Hold the "Setup" button until the light blinks twice
3) Enter "9" "9" "1" to enter code search mode on the remote
4) Press the the "CH+" slowly until your TV turns off (if you accidently go to far your can press "CH-" to go back a code or two)
5) Press the "Setup" key to lock in the code, the light should blink twice if done correctly

Your device is now programmed, enjoy!

SOURCE: Toshiba 26AV502U Won't Pick Up Channels

Hi albertogiler, I am happy to help, you will need to attach a antenna to the tv to pick up OTA over the air signals, depending on your location you may be able to use a set of rabbit ears, I have provided a link to a site that will explain in depth. http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/welcome.aspx
Let me know if this helps and please rate this solution. lone99star

Philips has a universal remote. I have used this one and it will amaze you at how many options this remote will work. The remote number for the Philips remote is near the price bar code. Find SRP1003/27 or SRP2003/27. These are some of the best remotes for any flatscreen TVs. Thanks for asking me!

You can get an exact replacement remote here:
http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=gmi&uuid=12934695994610&smodel=27ST6210%20MASTER&brand_pn=PHILIPS_27ST6210%20MASTER for the master remote. A guest remote is also available from remotes.com (search with just the model number not the manufacturer).

I hope this helps.

(You may want to check for TV menu and channel search buttons near any front AV inputs. Not all TVs have this, but our old 27" CRT (built ~1990) had this option. You could launch a full scan and then edit the channel list with those buttons. Unfortunately, the manual went with the TV to the recycling center last year.)

try using the number keys on control an manually program numbers in that way, if you select auto tune, it will only try to program any channel it gets signal for, once you type the numbers in that way, it should ask you to save that channel number, in which of course you select yes... try that, also refer to owner manual or mfg website.
