Question about Televison & Video
I have a Philips LCD TV Model number 32HF7544D/27,and I can't seem to get it to where I can program the channels.I have a Enseo HD1000 tuner that came with the TV.It is supose to have a NTSC tuner built into it,but I can't seem to get it to where I can get the channels to show up.In the manual it shows that you can get into the TV setup menu by pushing the F button on the RC2573GR remote,but the only menus I can get into is the standard menu by pushing menu on the standard remote,and the internal TV setup menu by putting the TV in ITV mode by punching in a code,and pushing M on the RC2573GR remote.The code for the regular remote doesn't work.In the regular menu under install all it does is scan channel 0,and show a bar going accross the screen showing the MHZ. counting up.I'm guessing it is HD "Air" mode looking for an HD antenna?In the regular comsumer mode setup it doesn't give me a choice of cable,or air.I talked to the Philips company commercial division,and they told me that some of the menus are missing,and that I needed to have the TV reflashed.They also said that the only people that have the tool is them.Is there a way to reset the TV without having it reflashed?All the other functions seem alright.Please let me know if any of you can help.Any help is greatly appreciated.Thank You very much!
i had the same problem with a 32 inch and i kept "clicking" the channel changer on the remote to force the tv to go to another channel (that had previously been selected during the initial auto scan) --- still trying to figure out why the tv locks onto the scanning for channel

cable or Ant.. ? after the scan if there is no channels found (0 digital, 0 analog) then try with cable or Ant to see if any of them work.. if they still don't pick up any channels and the whole yellow progress line goes across.. then it sounds like the tuner on the tv is bad.. and the tuner is part of the main-board so the whole main-board will have to be exchange or repair.. contact Amergence technology they are a 3rd party repair center that service Olevia TV's and they will be able to give you an idea on the repair cost..

SOURCE: can't get all my cable channels
what cable company do you have because you should have a cable box because only a cable box can scramble the frequency so you can get the channel you subscribe for

Apparently I didn't read the directions for code search closely enough (as it does work for my tv). So I will post them here, just to be sure people don't make the same mistake I did.
With the Device on;
1) Press "TV" on the remote control
2) Press and Hold the "Setup" button until the light blinks twice
3) Enter "9" "9" "1" to enter code search mode on the remote
4) Press the the "CH+" slowly until your TV turns off (if you accidently go to far your can press "CH-" to go back a code or two)
5) Press the "Setup" key to lock in the code, the light should blink twice if done correctly
Your device is now programmed, enjoy!

I am happy to help, you will need to attach a antenna to the tv to pick up OTA over the air signals, depending on your location you may be able to use a set of rabbit ears, I have provided a link to a site that will explain in depth.
Let me know if this helps and please rate this solution. lone99star
