In order for you to use the bluetooth you need a device, if it's built-in unto your laptop then no need. All you have to do is to reinstall the driver which can be found in your utility CD then locate the appropriate driver which the device name of your bluetooth then install and restart. IF it is not built-in, you need to purchase the bluetooth device, its in USB form then plug it in. thats it!

Have you Visit the manufacturer website to download the drivers. once there enter the model number or service tag number of the laptop then request driver (usually found in the web site's "Support Section"). There you should be able to find all the drivers for your model laptop Let me know if it helps you. Then It seems that your OS has registry problem Use system utility tool like RegInOut to fix registry and windows errors which causing drivers issues
Activate the Bluetooth features of your Acer Aspire to unlock your laptop's wireless function.
Bluetooth technology allows your computer to control and share data with external devices without having to use a connection cable or download drivers. In order to establish the connection with other enabled devices, you must first enable the Bluetooth antenna so other devices can locate your computer.
Press the "Bluetooth" button found just above the keyboard. The LED above the button should illuminate. Click "Start," "Control Panel" and "Add a Device." Your Acer scans for other Bluetooth devices in the area. Click the name of the device in the window that appears, and click "Next" to establish a connection with the external device.
For you to use the Wireless and Bluetooth of you laptop you need to install the latest driver so that it will be detected by the computer and works properly. Click Here to download. Select the Type of Operating System that youre using wheter it is 32 or 64bit. The drop down is located on the upper right part of the website.

If the device is not found, repeat the previous step. When the device is found, select it, and then click Next.
