Adding details will get you a faster solution from experts My mainboard A300M-E1394 freezes when I install more than 256MB of RAM, I am runing win Xp , it recognises the RAM in the BIOS but about half way into booting up it freezes tht is hang : from the specification of the mother board below it says it can take up to 2GB of RAM.
