Unfortunately ONLY the manufacturer can reset it. Sorry.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

2004 mazda rx8 immobilizer system

Only after market systems have valet over ride switches.
From what you said, the RX8 is shut down from
the factory immobilizer,
The IM05 bypass module is designed to circumvent this
but it's dependent on you having the original
programmed ignition key to do it.

Also, the system must not be damaged, or the code
lost from the keys or it won't do that.

Mazda may also need to reprogram the immobilizer code
for you to procede. Have that bit of info looked at
first.

We replaced my car battery, now all it does is flash!

Hi.

You need to enter the car stereo anti-theft code. The procedure is illustrated in the car or in the stereo user manual (depending if stereo is factory one).
The stereo code is also printed in car documentation.
Details on how to enter the code depend on car stereo make and model (or on car make and model).
The stereo code is unique, if you have lost the code you may need to pay a small fee to recover the code.
If you have lost the code, the unlock job can also be done for a small fee at the nearest car dealer.

Code needed for car stereo

From personal experience I can tell you that when this happened to me I had to call a million people it seemed to get the code, don't laugh but I lost where I had written down the code and needed it a few years later due to battery problems, anyway, I just happened to notice a familiar number on a sticker stuck to the side of my glove compartment while it was open, thought I would try it because it couldn't hurt, and it was the stereo code. So long story short, check the side of your glove compartment while it's open and maybe your code will be stuck there too.

Stereo code

If you can't get the code (or if you lost the card that comes with the stereo) you'll have to replace your stereo receiver or contact the manufacturer / authorized service center.

OR you can replace the EEPROM memory that stores the code with a memory that has a known one ;) .
