Audio output only out of one output

hello sir,

often this is sound IC fault, if one IC there change it and it will fix the other audio output, as the sound IC have two outputs and one of it doesn't output the audio,

if two sound IC's, it's a must one of it is faulty, you better change both for long run of the audio amplifier

good luck

I cannot get any audio from my tv / cable at all. I hae unplugged everything and reconnected. I can see the volume control on the screen and can see it go up and down from the tv and from the cable...

Hello
Either your tVs speaker of its audio output IC has damaged. Check the TV by onnecting its audio out jack to any other audio source, like amplifier or so, and see whether there is sound output comes through the outer source or not. If there is sound from the amp; and no sound output from the TV, check the speaker first. If it is OK, replace the audiou output IC. If there is no sound through outer amplifier, the audio detectcion section inside your TV is faulty. You must have a thorough knoledge and skill to repair it. OK.

Televisor se prende no hay audio pero al rato cuando calienta le entra un ruido en los parlantes y da volumen

Hello
Your TVs audio output IC has damaged. It has to be replaced with same type and number. to confirm it, check by feeding your TVs audio out socket to any other amplifier and check whether there is sound or not. If there is sound, and nosound comes from its speaker, no doubt that the audio output IC has damaged. OK.

The volume suddenly went out on our tv. you can hear static noise but no talking we havent had it but a few months ..

Hello
Either your TVs speakers or its output IC may have damaged. To confirm it, just up the volume of your tV, and try to hear the sound if any. If it feels like dostorted or very low-hard to hear, the speakers must be suspected. If there is no sound signal at all, output IC should be damaged. To confirm whether the sound detecting section is Ok, just connect your TVs audio output sockets at the rear of your TV with an amplifier or so, and rise the amplifier voluem, to get sound through it. If you get sound in this way, make sure that the above daid two items. Fist check the speaker, by connecting an external speaker in place and listen to it. If it also doesn't get the result, surely the output IC of your TV has damaged, and should be replaced with same type and number. OK.

No sound/audio while playing tv.

Hello

If there is no audio output from your tv, either your TVs speaker or its audio output IC has damaged. You just check it with an earphone/headphone, if there is an earphone or headphone socket in front panel of your TV. If there is sound from the headphone/earphone, and not from the speaker, means the speaker has damaged. You have to replace it with same type and number. Just check your set's audio out socket, if any provided, connet it to any external audio sourse, like amplifier or so, and check whether there is sound output from it. If not, your Tv/combos' sound processing IC inside has some trouble.
most common fault is related to sound output IC or speaker itself. If speaker is found OK, go to the sound output section. This section can be easly located as speaker wire goes to that section, and follow it. Before replacing the IC, check its leads for any loose or bad soldering. i advice you to resolder all the terminals of that IC, by applying a little more solder, without making any solder bridge loose contacts between them. If this does not helps, replace the IC with an identical type and number. OK.

Only get sound out of right side both a and b

Good day sir, Hi, your Philips receiver trouble can be any of the ff:
  1. your receiver left fuse is blown, check if it has a user fuse at the back. or
  2. your main IC amplifier for the left channel is bad. you need to replace that IC, but check first the wiring of the speakers.
  3. Check your receiver left speakers if it is producing a soft hum, to do this turn down the right channel, or adjusting the balance knob to the left, or simply remove the speaker connection of the right channel. place your ears on the left speaker as you adjust the volume up and down, do you hear a soft hum that goes up and down also? If yes the problem is on the source section before main amplification, usually the pre-amplifier stage, If you hear no hum at all. problem with the main left amplifier. The main amplifier is usually a single IC for both left and right channel, OR one IC amplifier for the left and one for the right, in both cases, replace the bad IC.
