That didn't help. I looked for "my computer" on my lap top. Windows 7 is what I'm using.

Click on the start button on the bottom right of the screen. Pop up box click on computer. There you will see all the drives you have on your computer. Hook the camera to the computer and the camera will show up as a new drive. Double click on it and it will show another box probably 100 media. open that up and your photos should be there if there is any photos on the camera.

Still no luck! Camera showed me pic are on disc. But computer showed to files where you said go. 1) WMPinfo, 2) DCIM. The camera showed me the pic one moment on the camera's review. Then show's me the white square with a crack, circle with a line through it. Memory card also will not upload with memory card slot on lap top. Also tried a memory card reader through the USB

if you have the memory card in the camera it should come up on the camera under the WMPinfo or yhr CDIM. If you keep clicking each new box that shows up you should get to the picture sooner or later. Card reader should come on the computer as a drive also,

If you hook up your camera using the usb cable make sure the camera is on. Next go to my computer and click on the drive that is new and open,. then you can access your pictures.

When hook the camera to the computer you will see the camera come up as a new drive. Clicl on it and turn it blue then right click on it and clickopen. If there are pictures on it they will be there.

I need help my laptop is not letting me download my pictures from my pny premium 4gb memory card .. it does work on my camera

How did u try to download pics? What i know is that there are two ways to save something from a memory card to a PC. One way is via USB cable and other way is directly from mem card.
If you're trying to save your pics from CAM to PC using an USB cable and not working at all then try opening up the memory card from your CAM and insert the card directly into your laptop in the laptop's memory card slot but if there isnt any slot, try to get it into a card reader and then attach the card reader with your PC. Hope it will work for you, best of luck.... x

Most recent pics won't upload- you can see them on the camera screen but won't upload

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then removethe memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader.Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of yourworking computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device oran external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card andcopy the photos to your computer.Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. Youcan copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off yourmemory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing anyprograms.

My camera will not upload pics, it says that there is no pics/videos to upload at this time! Even though I have 84 pics there!

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa.

I want to download photos directly to PC without a memory card. I don't to keep photos in memory card so what mode do I put camera in?

I'm pretty confident that there is no option for that. You must store the pics to the card and then upload to the PC.

I have lost the USB an all other cables for my Sony Cyber Shot 10.1. I have been unable to find cables to purchase. I have an adapter to upload pictures fro memory card but Can't find where it is to...

-the memory stick slot is on the same place as where the battery is.
-slide the latch at the bottom of the camera then inside you'll notice there's another slot just right next with the battery. slightly press the memory stick inwards then release.(you'll hear a click sound it will pop out a bit) then you can just pull it out then put it in your card reader to get the pics

-or you can call 1800-488-7669 to order the parts that you lost

My camera is sony cyber-shot 3.2 pixels I need a program to upload pics from memory card to pc...

You do not need a program. You can purchase a memory card reader for about $15 at an electronics store. Once you hook it up and insert the card, you can simply drag them into the folder of your choice.
