Question about Gateway MX6437 Notebook
the xp audio driver file that the gateway site gives you for the laptop mx6437 (D00377-002-001.exe) does not work for some reason. I searched the site for "conexant ac link audio driver" and found what looks to be a updated second working version. (D00377-002-002.exe)
here is a link to the page:
hope it helps

Welcome to Fixya!
Try this, find your utility CD, actually its a package of your laptop, then, reinstall the audio driver. just follow onscreen instruction. after that you need to restart. AFTER booting, go to control panel, click sound and then configure the audio, same thing just follow onscreen instructions. thats it! have a nice day!
if in case it has no more utility CD try this website www.driver.com and find the appropriate driver that suits the audio device of your laptop, if it hasn't any try (REALTEK audio driver)
