Just try opera or google chrome. these browsers has a grate facility. in opera you can assign speed dial. means, put the facebook in speed dial list. first time its looks little bit slower. after you setup the speed dial it will open very quickly.

to download opera

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

HAVING PROBLEMS LOADING

Hi john,It may be possible that your internet speed is very low. It may be the reason why Facebook is not loading for you. Check for connectivity issues. If you are using wireless internet check whether you have sufficient signal. Google is an extremely low size website where as Facebook with all the images and videos is extremely heavy. Since Google.com homepage does not undergo changes often your browser loads the site from the cache (ie. It loads a copy of the Google website that is stored in your computer). But in the case of Facebook it is not possible. So your browser requests for the page form the Facebook server every time. This alomg with low interent speed might be your problem.

I wish to keep the yahoo account but I don't want it to show on my home page. Can this be accomplished?

Hi,

When you say homepage I assume you don't want to load yahoo site whenever you open a web browser. TO change your web homepage you need to go to the following:

for Firefox 6.01. (Most likely all firefox ver. are similar)

- Click tools
- Click Options
- Go to General TAB
- type the website you want to be on your homepage at HOME PAGE box or Start page for other version

For Internet explorer 8 (other version are similar but not identical. Just look for tools)
- Click tools
- Click Internet Options
- Go to General TAB
- type the website you want to be on your homepage at HOME PAGE box or Start page for other version

For Google Chrome
- Click the wrench icon on the top right side
- Click options
- Click Basics
- At the HOMEPAGE section type in the website you want to load

Basically thats all. Please note browsers has different version but always look for the tools menu

The page has not loaded properly. Try to reopen your browser. Or you can use another browser that should work properly.

Firefox - Download from here
Chrome - www.google.com/Chrome

Facebook homepage not loading correctly (white screen)

You shouldn't be accessing facebook through HTTPS. Try adding facebook to your trusted zones by clicking "Tools", "Internet Options", select the "Security" tab, click on "Trusted Sites" with the green check mark, type in "*.facebook.com" without the quotes and uncheck the box toward the bottom of the dialog. Now click add and you should see *.facebook.com in the list. Click "Close". Now click on the "Privacy" tab, and move the slider down to "Accept all cookies" Click "Apply" then "OK". Try facebook again.

Let me know if this works! :)

Please vote on my solution :D

I cannot load any pages on facebook

Try clearing your cache and restarting your browser. On Firefox, you can do this by going to the Tools > Clear Private Data option. In Internet Explorer, go to

Tools > Internet Options > Internet Properties > General > Delete Browsing History > Delete All Temporary Files.

In IE, this takes a minute or two to clear.
