Have you restarted Internet Explorer after you updated each of these components?

Also, may I suggest that you download and install Mozilla Firefox, and try watching the videos using Firefox instead. If it works with Firefox (after you install the Flash Plug-ins again) Reply back.

    So does it work?

    • I don't know why acrobat reader tries to install when you open 'My Computer'. Thats pretty strange, unless there was some sort of icon changing virus that changed, umm nevermind.

    • Do you have anti-virus software installed?
I would suggest that you download AVG Free Here, and run a virus scan.

And report back, with your results (if any)

Unable to open YouTube

simply update the programs that youtube is requesting. if it still doesn't work, make sure those items that the page is requesting are turned on, and not disabled by security software. also, check with the browser itself to make sure those programs are not turned off.

Problem with Youtube

Thanks Eeeeekz,

I tried many things other than turning Java Script on, I think it's the option to allow the on site video player to run. Then I restarted my computer and it works. As I told I'm not sure it's that because I tried many things. Maybe youtube needs the option.

You have to make sure that JavaScript is turned on, and that you have an updated version of Macromedia's Flash Player.
To be sure that JavaScript is turned on –
Internet Explorer - Tools -> Internet Options -> Security Tab -> Click on Custom Level -> Scroll down to Scripting (near the bottom) and click Enable for Active Scripting. Then OK, and OK again.
Firefox - Tools > Options > Content > Enable JavaScript (Windows) Edit > Preferences > Content > Enable JavaScript
In case JavaScript is turned on and you still can't get it to work, download the latest version of flash player.
