SOURCE: Not fixed.

I know that a couple of you have had the same problem with the blowing 0.47 ohm resistors. I had responded quite a wile back, but forgot to make any updates. Kostiko is correct about the problem relating to these two 0.47 ohm resistors being blown. In my case on two different Haman Kardon models, this was true, but there could also be another issue. What i have found is even after replacing these resistors, the problem appeared to still be there. What was happening was that right after turning the receiver on, the resistors would blow again. What you need to do is replace the two small ceramic disc style capacitors on the same pcb as the fusible resistors, as they could be shorted as in my case. You could remove these capacitors completely, or replace them with a similar size of the same type, as they are really just there for filtering higher frequency noises from the power supply. You can check them with your multimeter first. They shouldn't shorted even in situe. I forget the size, but they are approximately 100 nano farads. Good luck. I have done this to my AVR135, and it has been running great for about 6 months now.

Your voltage measurements for the resistors are correct. The regulators should be fine. Remember that the pins that you are checking come before the regulators. I would double check these capacitors that I am referring to. Do you have the schematic for this? If you need it I have a copy. The transformer has multiple taps coming off of it. You cam check the other resistors, but I'm sure that they will be fine. I suspect the caps.

SOURCE: I bought a Malibu 300W

I don't know if it burned out, but something is not right.
Malibu products come with 1-5 year warranty.
New product that stopped working should be exchanged for full replacement at place of purchase, except possibly the auction sites.
New Malibu product should work for many years.
Be sure to match bulb voltage with transformer voltage to avoid possible problems.
Mismatched bulb and transformer wattage should not affect a timer in short period such as 1 week.
Another thing to check is outlet polarity. Use circuit analyzer from home center to check outlet.

Hopefully just a fuse. They were designed to blow in case you hooked it up incorrectly to a 220V. Worst case would be the transformer or regulator, but I doubt it.

The heat was working and then i turned it to cold and now the thermostat wont work and it is new cant get the heat or air to come on

Sounds like you had a direct short on the 24v side
of the transformer. Usually there is a inline fuse that
will blow so it protects the transformer..

Turn power off to unit
-Take doors off unit
-Look for a little fuse that may be located on the
control board where the thermostat wires go.

-Check the fuse, if it is blown then replace. However
you need to check the thermostat and the wires
that go to it to make sure they are not touching.

-If the fuse is not blown, then at the thermostat put
the fan to the on position. Go to the unit and turn the
power on, if the fans starts then things are at least
looking better. If the fan doesnt start, check to see
if the 110/220 fuse or breaker that you have isnt tripped

there is a component called a spatter gard inside the oven at the point where the microwaves enter......if food or other foreign substance gets stuck there, then it will start to burn ...the smell and popping noise is coming from the spatter gard.....to fix it you must remove the spatter gard..replace it if it's burnt and /or sand paper the spot clean and then paint the area with a high temperature paint called mr. touch up......to protect the bare metal from the microwaves.....hope that helps

Oven Problem

I would look at the transformer and verify that it is jumpered ( hooked up ) for the correct power source.
If there is an option to add a inline fuse to the transformer this will limit the amount of damage to the transformer so you can veirfy the issue.
If you know the current draw on the circuit, you can verify to see if the transformer is sized correctly to supply the power to the unit.

Dont know if this is helpful , hope it is......

This can only be 1--of 2 things, (the easy fix first, transformer or curcuit board is bad) .If you have 220 volts then check for power going into the transformer, (220 vt) and then power going out, (24-28vt) (90% of the time, its the transformer, 10% of the time, its the cuircuit board.! , i
