Probably a blend door issue. Either the door is stuck or the small activator motor is not connected to the door.
You might check to see if the truck is still covered by the factory warranty.

My 95 thunderbird makes a ticking after it is started,it continues for about 5 minutes and stops. Also it happens sometimes when I turn on the air condition. The heater also will not turn on. What co

Heater does not come on for a few minutes on purpose. The system waits until engine coolant is warm so fan not blowing cold air on you. The ticking can be the heater waiting to get turned on (air door closed) if sound seems to be coming from dash. System should work right away if you use A/C though.

2003 kia sorento heater blows warm air only while driving at high speed

Engines can rock on the motor mounts. You probably have a vacuum line that is pinched, cracked, broken, kinked, or unhooked. check the engine compartment lines first. If you have thin plastic vacuum lines, they can kink more easily than rubber lines. If you have been working under the dash (replacing a radio, etc) check your work area in case you have a broken fitting on a vacuum housing or an unhooked line.

Hi ! i have a 2002 x type that has over heated and there is also a ticking sound coming from underneath drivers side dash board?

The ticking sound, sounds like a relay, it's a small electro magnet type switch this could have been controlling the fan or heaters, if this has gone the car would overheat and make the sound.Get the relays checked before going any further. It should be cheap enough.

Hope this helps

2003 Ford Exployer-Heater only blows cold air and theres is a ticking noise coming from my dashboard.

Sounds like a jammed air diverter gate or the coolent diverter valve. The ticking sound is the actuator trying to open the gate or the valve.

A/c blows from floor

sounds like two problems. the ticking sound is probably a broken blend door stop. the wet floor is probably a bad heater core, both require dash removal.

No hot air FROM HEATER inside 2000 318IA

Hi There, If the fan blows only cold air, then you might have a restriction on the heater core. The heater core is like a small radiator inside your dash. The coolant flow through it can be restricted by corrosion. The lack of flow of coolant through the heater core will result in a lack of warm air inside the car. Flushing out the heater core may help. If not, you will have to replace it. I would say though, 80% of the time the cause is just restriction. Get the heater core flushed and I am sure you will get your heat back. MIke

Heater blows cold air

the electric motor that open the heat door looses electrical connection there by the door stays on cold / it is located under the a/c heater assembly / which requires removing the whole dash and heater assy// also bleed all air out of coolant system
there are three doors / 1/ a/c heat 2/ mode /defors 3/ recurculation dodgeboy6069@yahoo.com
