If there is still no spark after removing the switch wire then it will be a new ignition unit required, part no. 545199901, check the web a supplier. Set the air gap between the module and the flywheel magnets at 0.3mm

Daytime running lights wont shutoff already replaced switch no help

-If there is a day light running relay. The relay stuck contact.
-Here is a basic to check.
-Turn off the engine and if the light still on. Then try to unplug
each relay. The one you unplug and the light is off. That is the bad one.
-Before replace it. Use different one but same rat from different location to plug in that, if the light is still off then you need new one.

Good luck

Husqvarna 235 chainsaw wont run

Check fuel supply, proper plug (resistor) compression 120 to 145 lbs. If saw will not run have the ignition tested with a 3-point spark tester.

Will not idle husqvarna 240

Normally this is due to fuel supply, compression or air leak. You are going to need to perform some diagnostics to the saw. Start with compression, anything less than 115lbs will not allow the saw to idle. If the compression is good, check the fuel supply (filter and lines) Still nothing, have spark checked with 3-point spark tester.

Ok I have no spark on my husqvarna 240 did the coil with the card truck but still no spark

if you checked your clearance and the wire is good going to the plug (no cuts) then most likely bad coil needs replaced.

Husqvarna 240 want start at all

Sounds like the ignition module or spark plug. The ignition module is what controls the spark plug that gives your saw the firing capabilities. Before you purchase one of those, replace the spark plug and see if that works. The 240 is a newer husqvarna; so I am skeptical to say it is the ignition module. However, any new product can have a bad part on it.

Your saw may have gotten flooded and won't start. Make sure your gas mixture is 50/50 gas to mixing oil. Always use fresh gas. If you make up gas and don't use a whole gallon at a time, put some fuel stabilizer in the mixture; so it will still be fresh the next time you use it.

Will not start when hot!!!!!!! leve 30mins and all is well, have been told that it could be the ignition coil ??? husqvarna r52s mower

Hi,
ok, when its hot and won't start, this would be a good time to check for spark. If no spark, it may not be the coil, it could also be the control cable has stretched and not disingaging the kill switch.
Follow the control cable down to the engine, remove the cover over where the cable goes to the engine. Disconect the black wire and try to start the engine. if it starts, replace the cable.
This control cable controls the flywheel brake and it also kills the spark when you release the control cable bar.
Rarly does a coil go bad.......but it does happen.
