just uninstall the driver and software and help and reinstall it in english.

Go to this link, select your operating system from drop down menu and download and install appropriate software.

Just select your operating system on the page linked above, download your printers driver and you should be good to go. The drivers are what you need from the CD to install your printer.

try using a different colored catridge (may be yr friends own) and see if it prints. if yes then yu need to buy a colored ink for yr printer.

it would be great if you can tell me the operating system that you are using on you computer.

anyways check this out:

for windows xp:
*****************
>click on start-->run
>type in services.msc
>press ok
>from the new window called services local, double click on print spooler
>press the stop button
>now press the start button
>press ok and come out of that window.
>close all the windows and restart you computer.

for win vista:

> click on start, inside start search type in services.msc and hit enter.
> then follow the same as above

The driver you need is located in Vista already. Please follow these instructions from HP on how to install your printer under Vista.
