If everything still works but no belt movement, you motor controller is more than likely shot. If replacing you want to also pay attention to the deck and belt. Sence it sut down while running, it sound it an over heating problem which is usually caused from too much friction between the walking belt and the deck(the board under it) May require lube or may need replacing.

check manual for maintance on walking belt lubercation- mtr shutting down to over heating-pulling too many amps to rotate rollers/belt and to move you. Friction problem

Unplug unit and remove motor shroud ,check upper & lower wire for solid connections , check condition of magnet on front roller to see if missing or still in place if not replace the roller.
Next to the front roller, their is a speed sensor ( reed switch ) unplug the leads going to the the lower board use a multi meter to check continuity of the switch by inserting the leads into the connector and manually rotating the front roller back and forth opening and closing the reed switch if not operating properly then replace the switch.
If the above procedure did not resolve problem and still ERROR 1 then check the Motor Control Board LEDs 6 & 7 If LED 6 isn't on, change a new upper console if on then motor control board needs to be replaced if LED 7 is not on ( that a mouth full )
If LED 7 on - current overload circuit meaning too much friction between belt and deck you will need to apply good quality silicon lubricant that may be purchase @ gympart.com part# TM001
If then if the overload problem, still exists and lubrication did not the help then the belt and deck are worn and need to be replaced. Very seldom do we need to replace the Drive Motor problem is around 8% failure rate. You will get plenty warning if the motor goes out.

It is designed to be able to be restarted after about 5 minutes. When it stops, wait 5 to 10 minutes, reset the circuit breaker. Of course you still have the same problem.
The motor contoller board is most likely overheating do to friction, so you're going to need to lubricate the walking belt(this should actually be done every 6 months) you can order a kit on ebay for about 15-20 bucks, it's called " lube n walk ", and no, I don't sell it, but I use it on the treadmills I service.
I recomend you loosen the belt one full turn on each side before you lube the belt, apply the lube and run the treaadmill for one mile without anyone on it and then let it rest for a while.
After that give it a try. if the belt slips, then tighten it back up one turn, but don't over tighten it.
I also recomend using a single outlet surge supressor.
That should solve your problem.
