Yes, either a fuse or a breaker. Go for it!

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. The issue is with the Timer going bad and should be replaced. Also prior to replacing the Timer
check whether the drain is not clogged or blocked and the line is not kinked. If all this is fine and the pump is running then the timer may be at fault. Dishwashers timers can't be repaired, if yours is defective, replace it. Please accept the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

Dishwasher started to fill with water, and started to cycle the water, but then suddenly shut down and wouldn't start back up. The lights wouldn't go on at all. Not fuse or power problem.

Hello Jeremiah, thank you for your post!
I understand that your Frigidaire dishwasher started a cycle and then shut down. I would suggest performing a reset and you can do that by disconnecting the power cord for at least ten minutes. If you continue to experience issues you may need to replace the control panel or wiring harness. I would recommend having a professional technician out to your home for proper diagnosis and repair. This will help prevent you from any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

I have a Miele dryer, model T565C.The system starts and stops, and now it will not start, and there is no power

ELECTRIC Dryer no heat or little heat, or shuts down to fast:

Check your venting and lint basket. Check blower for lint build up and blower wheel obstruction., test by trying to turn the wheel manually by hand (should be easy) May have to remove cabinet or front/back plate to get to it)

Next check the heating element itself with a meter for continuity OHMS CLOSED CIRCUIT. If not its defective or has a short if its grounding out? Which in turns causes blown fuses or thermostats or
overheating.

The heating elements are located inside the heater ducts. If you think a heating element is faulty, test it with avolt-ohm-multimeter (VOM)set to the RX1 scale. Disconnect the leads from the power terminals and clip one probe of the VOM to each terminal. The meter should read about 12 ohms. If the reading is higher ohms, the heater is faulty and should be replaced. Replace a faulty heater with a new one of the same type and electrical rating. A heater connected to a 115-volt line usually has an 8.4-ohm resistance; a heater connected to a 220-volt line usually has 11 ohms resistance.

Check dryer Terminal block prongs both outside prongs should give combined 220, and 110 each if u check 1 outside & 1 center (ground) prong. Also check house electrical outlet for full voltage. 220 because if u only get half or 110 volts you will be able to run the machine which uses only 110 to run motor but not the heater which uses a full 220,

Check the thermal cut off, the cycling and the hi limit thermostats.
For continuity or OHMS. If no ohms or resistance they need replacement.

In some dryer's the control panel relies on a thermistor rather than a CYCLING thermostat to regulate the drum's air temperature by monitoring the component's resistance changes; resistance goes down as temperature increases and up when temperature decreases. Once the drum's air temperature reaches a certain level required to dry clothes, the control panel shuts off the heater. The panel will turn the heater on again and begin another heating cycle when the thermistor indicates that more heat is needed to keep the air temperature constant inside the drum

Lastly check your moister sensor. ( located inside the dryer door usually) Especially if machine seems to shut down early and clothes are still wet.
Test with a meter at room temperature and it should show continuity.
A failed moisture sensor will affect the dryer run time in the automatic moisture sensing cycle but it will not affect the heating of the dryer or the timed cycle. Which are reflected by the thermostats.

Water not going into well water tank

Is the pump running when power is ON?
Put ear against pipe and listen for pump.
Have you installed a check valve?
Check vlave lets water pass through the pipe and enter tank, but the valve closes after pump shuts off and keeps water from falling back down into well.

I have a dynex 55 inch tv it turns and runs for a whike and then shuts off I can not get it to turn back on until I unplug it and dose the same thing over again can any one help.

I would recommend doing power cycling your TV. Turn it off, unplug it and leave unplugged for a few minutes, then plug it in and power it on. If this doesn't fix the issue, then I would also ensure settings are back to factory defaults.

Press Menu
Press Left or Right to select Setup, then press Down to open the Setup menu.
Press Up or Down to select Restore Defaults, then press Right or Enter.
When a message asks if you want to restore factory settings, select Yes to restore the settings, or select No, to exit without restoring settings.

My TV "Dynex DX-LCD37" shut

Since the TV is new I would suggest that you must not attempt to tamper the TV and give up the warranty on the set. So the best is to have an external check, remove the power supply and let the voltage drain off in the set and control panel, depress the control panel /start /standby switch/prog. switches.
If the set after this reset still prefers to shut down after a time period then there is a hardware issue on the processor section and it can be relative to hanging of the system.
I would request that you file for warranty free service immediately.

BenQ DX 650 Won't power up making clicking noise

Those units are designed to be fan cooled after the bulb shuts off. When the cord was pulled, the unit lost power and without the fan, sat there and cooked. Could be a thermal fuse, could be the bulb.

1987 FORD FULL SIZE BRONCO FUEL PROBLEM, SHUTS DOWN

The only way air can get in the fuel line is if you have a hole in it! Problem of course is were? I would run the fuel line from back to front and back again. Look for any wet spot that you can find. You may even have to drop the tank to ba able to look on top. I would suspect the problem is in the line before the high preasure pump, being as you are pulling air into the system. I have seen leaky lines allow air in, but not let fuel out.

Kenmore Heater continues to run when motor has stopped

It sounds like you have a grounded heating element. If the dryer can be turned off but the heating element continues to get hot, that indicates a grounded heating element. Be Very Careful. There could be power running thru the dryer case. I would unplug the machine and check out the heating element. Hope this helped and best wishes.

No power on key

There's a gas module located above the spare tire . This is famous for shorting out causing the problems I described and blowing a fuse in the panel, the fuse number is f43 which causes the vehicle to shut down, Hope this helps someone else. Thanks

Sounds like water....dx doesnt work

2H means the machine is taking longer than 99 minutes to run a cycle. Start the cycle and wait 5 minutes, then open the door. If water doesn't look like it is spraying out the wash arms or slowly coming out the wash arms, then check to make sure the filter at the bottom is clean. If clean, then sounds like your circulation pump isn't running or impeller has came apart.
