Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
I play games on my laptop with a PlayStation 3 controller, but sometimes while I'm playing the controller becomes unresponsive and I have to disconnect it for it to return to normal, but even that doesn't work sometimes. I'm using the libusb sixaxis driver. Can anyone please tell me how to fix this?
First of all I don't believe the PS3 controller is recommended for use on a computer, lol. And the sixaxis may mess it up in the first place. You need to go get you a COMPUTER CONTROLLER, like a logitech or something. Soi you can play on a right controller. Also make sure your PS3 controller is properly managed on the laptop.

This is the 2nd most common problem
with PS3's. This isn't a bad problem. Your laser/lens will need to be
replaced. Do you see the time clock in the top right corner going
around and around? If so, you are just having laser/lens problems. If
you do not see the time icon spinning when you insert a disc, your
PS3's Blu Ray drive controller board has gone bad and you will need
to send it to Sony and not a
3rd party technician. Certain problems
are only repairable by Sony. Good luck. There are many videos on
youtube if you would like to do it yourself (I would advise you not
to). I recommend that you find a technician who has experience. There
are many things that can go wrong.
The downloaded games not playing and returning to the PS3 sign - I blame your hard drive. If you decide to change it:
When you replace your hard drive, you
will need to have the latest firmware on a
usb stick. Download the firmware from
the playstation official website onto a usb
stick. Once prompted by your system you
will need to insert the usb stick into the
PS3. Good luck..
You will need 2.5" Sata Hard
For the controller:
There is a little pin sized hole on the back of the controller. Find a safety pin (or similar) and press and hold this button for a few seconds. Plug the usb cable back into the controller and to the system and this should solve your syncing problem. If not, then you are facing a sever motherboard meltdown..
Every playstation 3 will eventually die and become totally unresponsive, even after repair(s)
