Mother Board Looking for mother board for a Dimension E310 or a part number this has to be a dell board to fit thanks for any help you can give me Larry

    Thanks alot I tried to find it at dell but couldn't I don't work on to many dells and the board being opposite Threw me thanks again Larry

Dell dimension 5150 wont boot past post. I've tried afew things but nothing works. can you help? thanks
If it won't go past POST then there is a hardware error. Try removing the hard drive and RAM. The mother board should complain at power on giving messages. If it does, try fitting the RAM module by module, then the hard drive.

I have a Dell Dimension E310 with the power button flashing amber. I recently replaced the power supply due to an electrical storm, good reason to suspect the power supply. But the only way to get past...
i suggest using a PCI ethernet lan card with drivers cd. this should allow the bypass of the integrated connection to be that of the newly installed device.

1. Check to see if you have the volume control in the "off" position in the task bar (speaker icon) bottom left Of the Windows screen.
2. Go to the "device manager" to see if the sound card is working properly. check for updated sound card drivers. (See the helps menu to get to the device manager found usually in the "control panel"
3.Some sound cards are integrated with the mother board and can stop operating. Therefore a replacement sound card is needed. PCI possibly.
Contact your manufacturer for a possible replacement mother board or you may have to purchase a usb sound card.

Dell E310 Desktop. When I turn PC on, it begins to beep and the 3 and 4 lights stay on. It will not boot up.
It is signaling a critical error has occurred. Suggest finding a service tech that has a boot-up troubleshooting card that is placed in a mother-board slot. It will reveal such things as bad memory, power loss and so on. Repairs may be enough cost to consider a new machine.
