I have worked on polishers from several places, and really the best solution is to get a second polisher.
Polishers get really hot after prolonged use and people that use them that hard use one until it gets hot and then they switch off to the other and let the first one cool. It's expensive from the stand point you have to buy a second tool, but running a polisher to the point that it's too hot to hold onto is how they get burned up and you'll be buying another one anyway.

Dewalt framer acts like the safety isn't pushing the trigger far enough for the plunger air leaks out @the trigger until u let off. Whats wrong?

The trigger valve has failed, replace the orings that are made of vinyl within the valve or replace with new. Also check within the nailer for failed vinyl rings. There could be at least 5 bad orings. The bad orings will be yellow in color and feel putty-like. The black buna rings are usually ok.

Excessive oil in tank when draining. Large puddle. Why

every time the piston goes down it has a vacuum in the cylinder and should draw air through the filter into the cylinder if the air filter is restricted it raise the vacuum and start drawing oil around the rings into the compression chamber which gets pushed into the air tank. The more wore out the piston rings are the more this will happen so if you clean your air filter and drain your tank and it still has oil in the tank it is time to re ring your unit. Also air gets real hot as you compress it so hot air in a tank that is in a cold area will sweat on the inside of the tank so some of what you are seeing is water.

How do I clean the interior of a LG DLE3733W Dryer?

Hello Mary;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

Both LG & Samsung appliances are a service technicians nightmare. They have the highest service call rate, the most expensive parts and take the most time to access and repair parts. I will give Samsung a thumbs up on televisions and stereo's.
It would be nice if consumer reports would survey field service technicians rather than owners and get the real story.

Believe me you do not want to disassemble. You are going to end up calling a service company to put it back together and get a $250.00-$300.00 bill.

Ok, what can you do? Air flow blows 95% of the lint out the connection to the outside air discharge behind your dryer.

1.) Pull your dryer out to the point that you can get behind it.
2.) Unplug your dryer.
3.) Hot air distribution manifold - There are several screws holding this on. There are no hot electrical components to be concerned with. Remove this.

In the bottom rounded part is where you get plugged up. Clean this out.

4.) Hot air discharge at the wall - Usually, the connector vent hose is held on with band clamps. In this case you need a flat heat screw driver to loosen and remove the vent hose.

5.) With a vacuum cleaner hose, vacuum out the hole in the wall as far as you can reach. Then, vacuum out the air discharge as far as you can reach. The hot air blower wheel in in the front of your dryer.

6.) Before reinstalling the hot air distribution manifold and connecting the out side air duct. Plug your unit in and turn your dryer on and run for 5 minutes to blow out excess lint. The hot air distribution manifold and the outside air duct create a back pressure. This way your blower wheel will run full open.

DEWALT D51850, Air Blow by trigger, factory has repaired multiple times. Says it's "O" ring, I Say It's a POS. my other dewalts are fine, and it's not a lack of oil or use issue.

Dewalt uses clear vinyl orings in the trigger and around the cylinder between the bulkhead. These orings do not hold up. They should be replaced with black rubber type to solve the air leak problem. Replace tow orings on the stem inside the trigger valve ( 2MM X 1.5MM). Replace two under the bulkhead against the cylinder (larger one is 74.4MM X 3.1MM, ((smaller is 58.4MM X 2.6MM or universal oring number 141)) ).

Check to ensure that the storage tank has no fluid in it, open the drain valve and blow it out. There may also be an inlet air filter on the compressor, make sure that is clean and there are no obstructions.

I have d55155 and cant get over 60 psi, it never shuts off. how do i tell where the leak, o ring, or teflon tape should go. should the release valve be in a certain position? it seems down all the way

Could be leak or faulty valve plate in head. Use soapy water and spray all fittings including drain valve and pressure regulator. Repair as needed. If no leak found suspect problem with compressor. Try simple test, with compressor running and has reached max pressure (60psi) remove air filter and feel intake for suction. Be carefull could be hot. The suction should fairly strong. If no suction or actually feels like air is blowing out of intake, suspect valve plate. Parts are available at dewalt service center or www.toolpartsdirect.com. Good luck

My DeWalt Air compressor Labors to hard and long not getting to full charge. Air os blowing up threw the dipstik. Blowing iol out.

This means that air is slipping past the rings. They are worn and will require replacement. I'd recommend new valves too if you are going to get into it. First disassemble and make sure the cylinder bore is in decent shape (no deep scoring). If the cylinder bore is trashed, either replace the pump or the whole unit.

Try pressing the trigger at the same time as turning the selector collar. If you still can't get it to turn try using an air nozzle to really blow everything really clean.

Fresh air 2.0: Unit cycles on and off.

The problem is dust or moisture on one or more of the circuit boards, in the bottom of the unit. The problem is usually caused by resetting the cleaning reminder without actually cleaning the machine. ;-) It hasn't been difficult for me to solve so far. Remove the filter. Remove the two screws that hold on the plate where the rear switch is located. The wires are long enough that they don't need to be removed from the switch. Use a blow dryer or dry compressed air to blow off the circuit boards. ****Keep your face out of the way!!! Be sure not to get the blow dryer too close or too hot. If you have a Warm setting, use that. Good luck!
