Intel Desktop bord D845GVSR with Windows XP hanging frequently
Hi I am using Intel Desktop bord D845GVSR with Windows XP . My Desktop is hanging regularly and until I restart I am not able to do any thing. Even some times while restarting the system after hanging it is not restarting need to try multiple times to restart the system

It is clearly printed in between cpu socket and memory slot. It starts like Intel desktop board ... D845GVSR...

The audio driver for Windows XP Home, and Windows XP Pro, will be the same one for Intel's 845GV motherboard chipset. (Northbridge/Southbridge chipset)

If your system hangs up, instead of re-starting it hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete and then click on End Program. As far as your Desktop Board go to www.microsoft.com and type in Hardware Compatibility List. There will be a listing of the hardware that is compatible with Windows XP. It may not be compatible that is why it is hanging up.
