Question about Panasonic SC-PT660 Theater System

Panasonic SC-660 speaker problems

I have just purchased this home theater system from Circuit City. While the subwoofer and two tower speakers are working, the center and two small surround speakers are not producing any sound. I wonder if it might just be faulty wiring? Everything is correctly connected(they color coordinate, so a two year old could figure this part out), please help me!

The center and rear speakers are off if the PLII is disabled, make sure it is enabled by pressing the PLII button in the remote, you should see it on the display

How to connect the speakers to the sb-wa342 panasonic subwoofer

I hope I understand you correctly.

As you can probably tell from the very different connector types on the subwoofer and the HTS, they don't match up. That speaker system and this electronics are not meant to be used together.

The SC-BT200 uses passive subwoofer while the SB-WA342 is an active (powered) subwoofer.

Simply unplug the machine for more than one minute. Then plug it back in again. That makes the system reset and the problem went away.

SC-BT !00 Panasonic wireless speaker connection won't link

If you go into the set up menu and go to the speakers set up - it only shows the right, left, centre and subwoofer on the screen. You need to go down to the box below these speakers and activate the rear speakers which are not shown. The wireless section will then light up w1/2 on the display at the front of the scbt100 - i had to call panasonic to figure this out and they advised me it was missing from the instructions!!!

Speaker wire

Use the same gauge that is supplied for the rear. Probably 24 gauge.Do it with the power off. If the wires touch with the power on the rear output IC will blow. Good Luck

Can't get the surround sound to play the rear speakers and small front speaker

Sounds like it's just in 2 channel stereo mode, only 2 speakers working out of 5 and a sub, look for a selector switch for switching to 5.1 surround, as far as the no video problem try replacing the cable for the video connection.

No sound, subwoofer or speakers

Er so you plug the speakers into anther system and they work? Blindingly obvious but there is no fault with the speakers.
