Error e68

Remove any disk from the DVD drive2_bing.gif.
Remove the hard drive and turn on. When you get to the dashboard turn it off again by holding the X button on the controller and select 'Turn off console'.
Wait 10 seconds and then turn on again by pushing the X button on the controller. When you get to the dashboard turn off again via the X button.
Remove the AV / Video plug from the back of your Xbox.
Replace the hard drive correctly.
Switch on the Xbox via the power button on the console. 4 red lights should flash.
Wait 10 seconds and re-insert the AV / Video cable.
You should now load into the dashboard with your hard drive profiles - wait theres more!
Turn off and on via the X button as before another 2 times with all leads and the hard drive in place.
After you power it off the second time, remove the power lead for 20 minutes and then turn on again any way you feel like it and it should be cured.

Turn the xbox on and where the light is green there is only one red light and it says on the screen system error

An original Xbox? On the error screen there should be a number. Which is it?

2 - bootldr - Eeprom check failed

4 - bootldr - Ram check failed

5 - kernel - HDD not locked

6 - kernel - Cannot unlock HDD

7 - kernel - HDD timeout

8 - kernel - No HDD found

9 - kernel - HDD parameters (

10 - kernel - DVD timeout

Actually its almost the same as error 6/7/8.

11 - kernel - No DVD Found

12 - kernel - DVD parameters (PIO/DMA)

13 - kernel - Dashboard launch fail

14 - dashboard - Error loading dashboard

16 - dashboard - Clock cannot be set.

20 - kernel - The dashboard was attempted to load and failed

21 - anywhere -

Some of these are relatively simple to fix. Some are nightmarish. Let me know which it is and maybe I can help you.

Hard drive problems

sounds like you have a bad save on your HD you need to go into your HD while in dashboard and delete everything that is on it. This should work in stopping your games from freezing.

If it doesnt then you will need to purchase a new HD as your HD has gone bad. This is rare but does happen.

Hd-dvd-player

Just go to your memory on your xbox dashboard and delete the transformers cookie. If you do not know which one it is just delete all the HD DVD Content files and start fresh. When you are done and you put the Transformers HD DVD in again, it will ask if you want to accept the cookies. Simply select "decline cookies" and your problem will be solved. It make take a minute to load the movie, but this fixes the problem

One red light - Error: E 68 - Problem code 0110

i think i can solve this try this out

I just had this exact problem, E 68, and was about to call MS, I removed HD and let system reboot without it and it booted fine i rebooted one more time without HD for a total of two. I then tried to reinstall the harddrive and noticed that it did not want to snap in. I played with it a few min more and finally got it to snap in properly. I think it was not seated properly to begin with as it was down further on the back side than it was before i removed it. I also heard two distinct clicks as it clicked in at the rear and then at the front. Once i did that it fired back up with both my profiles and is now working again. my 360 is laying horizontally

not sure if this work but its worth a try

The xbox 360 is taking longer to load up

One reason of it taking longer to load up is:  Microsoft's solution to the ring of death is replacing your existing processor with a smaller, and cooler processor. The rumour is that the new processor is slower too.

If this isn't enough, call Microsoft and see if it's normal.

cheers
