You can download the Lexmark X5495 driver from the Lexmark website for free. Go to this link Lexmark X5495 Drivers. Select your operating system by clicking on change OS.
Click on FILTER.
Click on the driver under Recommended Downloads.
Download, execute the file and follow the instructions on the software.
NOTE: Use Vista driver in Windows 7.
I hope this information has been helpful. Thanks.
There are printer drivers available for download in the Lexmark website. It would have been better if you posted the exact model number of the printer (e.g. Lexmark X5495, Lexmark X5410, Lexmark X6675, etc.) and the operating system of your computer so I can point you straight the driver. Anyway, to download, just click on this link: http://bit.ly/aiWCx4 . Type the exact model number of the printer in the bar found below the images of some of Lexmark's printers, then hit select. On the next page, choose the correct driver compatible for your computer's operating system. Download and install the software.
Did you purchase a "Lexmark" factory new cartridge or was it a third party cartridge made for a Lexmark printer.
The Black 32 Cartridge is listed for the family of printers. So either you have a defective cartridge (Contact Lexmark and ask for a warranty exchange of the cartridge) or return the cartridge to the store you bought it from and tell them your problem.
Please note that the X5450, X5470 X5495 falls under the X5400 Series. However, if you are not sure about the exact printer model number then please look on the front of the printer for the name "Lexmark" and then either a full number, or a letter/number combination (usually starting with "X," "Z" or "P").
When you try refilling your ink cartridges, you are taking chances that something may go wrong. I would search the web and purchase re-manufactured ink cartridges, which would be less expensive than the new ones from Lexmark.
