SOURCE: Cannot disconnect the wand from the power cleaner

Looks like you will have to replace the quick disconnect asm. part # 38646086, you should be able to order this thru a shop that repairs Hoovers. If this is less then 1 year, then it is under warranty. You can call Hoover's 1-800 #. should be in your owner manual and on the metal tag on the cannister to find out where you can get part.

SOURCE: vaccuum shuts off when i turn the brush off to use

in the crease where the vacuum handle meets the vacuume the cord may be getting pinched off so check that first and if it is make sure there is no damage to the cord so that you don't get electrocuted.

SOURCE: White & grey model Roomba is moving much

You need to adjust the "Brush Height String" The new battery is a bit heavier than the old ( by 10 ounces if you got the new battery) dis assemble the roomba and you will see a string attached to a screw which allows the brushes to rise and fall with different surfaces. Move the string 1/4 " and re tighten the screw. Good to go!

Kenmore canisters are famous for melting the connection between the hose handle and the upper wand. They also sometimes melt between the lower wand and the power nozzle neck. Take it to your local vacuum repair center and get a diagnosis.

My kenmore progressive canister vacuum turns on only if the hose is attached to the floorwand. It seems that the canister motor is not working because I can't hear anything coming from the caniste

If the floor wand is powered, there may be an electrical connection that is broken when the wand is disconnected. This is part of the design, not necessarily a fault

Rainbow e series vaccum/scubber

If you are talking about the hard wood floor brush you hook it at the end of the one slightly bent wand. Look at the end of the brush that you would hook to the wand. In the circle opening there are two slits. On the end of the wand there are two bumps. You need to line them up, push the brush on then twist it around so it stays on. then you attach the straight wand to that and the other slightly bent wand at the other end of the straight one. It will go like this Wet hose, slightly bent wand, straight wand, slightly bent wand, and floor brush. I hope I helped. Leave the basin empty. put your water or cleaner on the floor scrub it around then turn machine on and suck it up.
