Quickly remove the battery and never switch it on. Meet your technician to work on it.

Sounds like the phone is defective..Contact your cell phone provider to see if they are willing to replace it for you...I believe most company gives you one year warranty for the phone...
Hope that helps

Try to reset the phone..1.Power off the phone.
2.Press and hold Vol+ key and Power key simultaneously for about 10 seconds until the some option appear on the screen which are reboot system now; apply update from sdcard; wipe data/factory reset; wipe cache partition.
3.Use Vol+ key and Vol- key to move the cursor to "wipe cache partition" and press camera key to confirm it.
4.After 5 seconds, the cursor will be on "reboot system now" again and press camera key to confirm it. The phone will reboot automatically. If it doesnt work then it needs a repair service.

Nokia 6500 slide power button not working.

You know that every electronics device run with the power whether it is Dc/AC.So, when it gets wet with water or any liquid the current passes through the mother board/main board get sort.We have known that liquid substances like water has current conductor. Therefore, if we put or supply current to the device before completely dried the components inside the device can damage easily.Likewise, you have done, now the only thing is to dry your phone by using Rework Station (Heat Blower) which is used by the mobile technician. But, sorry I could not tell you that I will definitely works because this process should be done first (before inserting battery). Thanks for visiting fixya

My screen is not responding on every key

Did you drop your phone? Did water get into your phone? You need a technician to open your phone and check it. A simple cleaning may solve the problem or the keypad circuit board may need repair.

Dropped it in water about a month ago. got it shut off pretty fast opened up the case let dry for 2 days , worked when turned on EXCEPT keyboard letters somtimes dont work, battery says full charge then...

If you are above average in elctronics abilities, you know electricity and water don't mix well. You dropped your phone in the water, you did all the right things and you got another month from your phone. Since that time, the impurities in the water that were left behind when the water dried out have continued to errode the contacts and short out the traces not to mention the normal 'wear and tear' YOU put on the phone and your phone is showing its accelerated age.

I just got a LG Rumor, it was under $30.00 new on an existing account or free if I opened a new account and they would give me two more free if I would simply activate them and add them to any account. Now - admitted, that was in MY market - not yours. I think if you want to play around with it to see how it works, you should look for parts - like a key board, etc. Take a stab at the repair. If you want/need a phone, spring for the $30.00 (per my example in my market) and have a good, reliable simple phone that will work for you when you want it to.

Thank you for your interest in FixYa.com and thank you for your question ...

My nokia 6120 classic shuts down momentarily from time to time, several times a day. what could be the problem?

Hello :

I think that your phone has water damage .

If you are sure , that there's no water damage with your phone , then try this please :

Switch-off your phone.

1. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to switch on the phone.

Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show!

2. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your phone will back to original system and factory setting.

By restoring factory settings your problem will be solved for sure if there's no water damage .

good luck .

rate please !

Shuts off on its own constanly

Try opening both ports and allowing the internals to dry. I had the same problem and traced it back to water and/or moisture in the phone. The phone is water proof as long as the keys aren't pressed underwater, which in my case ruled out text messaging in the shower...

Hope this helps
