Question about Cyberhome CH-DVD 300 DVD Player

1 Answer

Setup menu Our Cyberhome DVD 300 shows us the setup menu. When we press the SETUP button, however, it does not return to the usual home screen so that we can playback a DVD. instead we get another screen with folders on it (e.g. CONFIG, DVD ROM, fscommand). Pressing SETUP only gets us back to the SETUP menu.

Cyberhome Ch- DVD 300

Your advice was very helpful. After two+ months of tooling around and navigating around the menu blind I was on the brink of trashing it.

At first I tried the stop button with a dvd in the player with no success. After taking the dvd out, turning in off/on then pressing the stop button for 20 seconds the screen turned blue as said.

This help saved me a great amount of fustation.

Thank You!

Cyberhome 300 DVD Player: pal to ntsc mode?

You might want to reset to factory defaults, but there is an error in the manual. In order to reset to factory defaults, turn on (with no disc inside), DO NOT OPEN THE DISC TRAY, just press the stop button on the player for 5 seconds.

If you select Progressive Scan and your television doesn?t support it, you may end up with a blank screen and be unable to view the menu in order to fix it. If that happens, fix it by turning the DVD player off then back on. Open the disc tray, then press and hold the STOP button for five seconds.
