Question about Kingston Kpex100 Digital Media Player
My computer will not recognize my K-PEX. Normally, when I plug the USB to the computer, the device says "Charging... Disconnect and reconnect for USB mode." When I do this the device briefly shuts off and turns back on with along with the previous statement. I'll just keep plugging and unplugging, and I'll still get the same result. If I'm lucky, the device will occasionally say "USB connected" but my computer still will not recognize it. The funny thing is that I was able to put music on before but now it won't.
P.S. I've also tried the whole "install new hardware" tip and no go. Something about "see code 10". PLEASE, HELP ME!
You can try other usb cable or if you have multi tester check all the line if all is ok.
i have check the lines with the help of this thread
be sure that the black line is connected to ground,or you'll get charging only.
just solve one today by connecting theblack wire to grouind...

Hi yea i had the same problem and i realised this was because i plugged it into a USB hub. if u do the same try plugging directly into the port on the system unit. If not u may not have the required drivers for this device.

There's a small hole where you can insert a needle size pin or any thing that will fit there to reset it. you can try this first.
