I have a unlocked ZTE Mf190 USB-Modem. When I put the SIM card in it and connect it to the computer, I am able to connect to 3G Internet via beetel connection manager. Is it also possible to send and receive SMS. But when I try to make a voice call on beetel voice call panel, I receive this error message "Dialing failed! Please try again!" . And also when I use another phone to call the SIM card line number that I put in the USB-Modem, I receive busy tone

I have 2 problems. 1. The orange message light will not stop flashing no matter what I do. 2. Some how the system was switched from touch tone to dial tone. I can't seem to that switched either.

Resetting the voice message waiting indicator
When you receive a new voice mail message, the new message LED on the top of the handset flashes. In the event your message waiting light gets out of sync with your phone company's
voice messaging system, you can manually reset it back to the "No messages waiting" state.
1. Press and hold FiND on the base for five seconds.
Note: The handsets connected to the base will start to beep, however, keep pressing for five seconds.
2. A beep sounds and the message alert tone is reset.
Changing the dial mode
Your phone can communicate with the telephone network in two different ways: tone dialing or pulse dialing. These days, most base networks use a method called tone dialing, so your phone comes programmed for tone dialing. If your phone company uses pulse dialing, you will need to change your phone's dial mode. If you don't get a dial tone or can't connect to the telephone network, please follow the steps below to modify your phone's settings:
1. Press MENU/SELECT.
2. Select the Global Setup menu, and then the Dial Mode submenu.
3. Scroll to highlight Pulse.
4. Press MENU/SELECT. You will hear a confirmation tone.
If you ever need to change the dial mode back to tone dialing, follow the same procedure, but select Tone in step 3.

Finally for future ease of use, here is a link to the user manual were I copied the above information from:

There was an err by clicking the icon it shows the message as errorcode#E0601009

bhanukiran_b,

Are you still experiencing the error message on your receiver. If you are, is the message indicating a phone line error? If that is the message you are receiving, you can run a phone line test on your receiver to make sure you are getting dial tone to the receiver.

Press the menu button on the remote. On the main menu, press 6, 3. This takes you to the diagnostics screen. In the upper right hand corner is a button, "Connection". Press select once the button is highlighted. This will initiate a connection test. Once the test is completed, a message will show either "failed" or "passed". If it fails check your phone jack for dial tone and then the phone cord from the phone jack to the receiver box.

I hope this helps. If you need more assistance, please post to this site.

Can not call out

do you hear clicking after dialing, or DTMF tones beeping?
It's possible your phone has the wrong type for what the phone company is expecting. Do you have a switch to change it on your phone? Try that.

I need to retrieve my home phone messages from cell phone

Activating Call Forwarding

You can activate Call Forwarding whenever you want your calls to be sent to another phone, including a mobile phone. Once activated, all your calls will be sent to the forwarding number you request. Each time a call is forwarded, you will hear one short reminder tone on your home phone, but you will not be able to answer the call from your home number.

1. Lift your telephone's receiver and listen for a dial tone.

2. Press *7 2.
In some areas you must use 72#
Dial 1172 on rotary or pulse-dialing phones.

3. At the tone, dial the telephone number where you want your calls transferred.
You will hear the number you entered ring. When the number is answered, Call Forwarding is activated.

4. If the call is not answered or the line is busy, hang up and call the number again within two minutes.
You will hear two short tones telling you that Call Forwarding is activated.

5. Hang up the receiver.

Deactivating Call Forwarding

Turn Call Forwarding off when you want to receive calls on your home phone.

1. Lift your telephone's receiver and listen for a dial tone.

2. Press * 73.
In some areas you must use 73#
Dial 1173 on rotary or pulse-dialing phones.

3. Listen for two short tones.
Call Forwarding is now off and you will receive your calls at your home number.

No dial tone detected

It may be a bad modem on the copier. Plug your phone into the auxillary phone port on the copier and see if you get a dial tone. Also make sure that your cord from the wall is plugged into the line port and not the phone port.

Sending and receiving problems

Where the telephone line comes in from the wall, make sure that it is plugged in the "line" or "wall" port. There is probably another port call "tel" or "acc". If the line is plugged into that port you will still get a dial tone but you are not connected to the fax's modem. You hope that's it. Ed
