Question about Computer Monitors
I am unable to install the driver for my Princeton Graphics VL1715 monitor on this PC. I have previously used it with the same driver on a previous machine. Both are running WinXP Pro.
The installer cannot find the Cab file inside the VL1715,msi installation file.
No . I am not suggesting that you flash the BIOS . I am suggesting that newer drivers are likely available and you should download them and install,especially the video card driver. They even have diagnostic software fot your model, if you have or can borrow another monitor that will work. Their seems to be 12 different video cards on your model alone. If this doesn't work , judge me not harshly but give me a chance to have you try something else.

Or www.digikey.com just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current, long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.
