Question about Vizio L32 32 in. LCD HDTV
No clear picture until it warms up. It is taking longer and longer to warm up.

SOURCE: after warming up the picture
It flickers because the tension to the plasma panel isn't stable - the power source is faulty. You must open the tv and check the source, the Y and Z boards for failing parts (especially the capacitors). Also look for loose connectors, bad solderings or bad wires.

either a mosfet or capacitors are ready to fail check the power board for bulging on the tops of the capacitors and replace with the same

Hi There are three things that can cause this problem. Your lcd screen, t-con board or the signal board. Most likelly in your case since you say it's only half the screen it's going to be your t-con board. You can try removing it and cleaning all the contacts and replacing it see if that helps. If that doesn't help then replace it. If that does not solve it then it's going to be your screen.
