A) Didn't know there was one. A fuse.
Unless you are talking SMD fuses. (Surface Mount Device. And they are also SMT. Surface Mount Technology)

B) Kinda' hard to know without the manufacturer name, and model number of the motherboard. But, the motherboard would have to be sitting in front of me, to determine the rating of the SMD fuse, anyway. (IF, this is what you are referring to)

If it is a gamer motherboard perhaps a fuse was used in the power circuit of the motherboard.
Again, do not know what motherboard you are referencing to.

I have an asus n550jk laptop the motherboard video fuse has blown does anyone know where to get a replacement fuse and what rating it should be

I've been debugging various backlight brightness problems lately, and I've learned a lot in the process. First lets take a look at how all the bits fit together. There are 3 parts involved in changing the brightness:

  • Detecting brightness up / down key presses

  • Processing the key presses

  • Controlling the actual back light

I need to know the value of the fuse and the type

Try this website for more information on resistors: http://www.dannyg.com/examples/res2/resistor.htm
If you are literally meaning fuse, look on the side: somewhere on the metal it will have the size and rating stamped.

My wii will not work the wires are plugged in but the light is not on it was working fine yesterday but it wont work now please help

Try your wii power supply in your friends' house. If your power supply didn't work on your friends wii, Buy new power supply. If it worked on your friend's wii then your wii is dead. Call Nintendo to take care of it. If you dont have a warranty, do it yourself. Take out the motherboard and google Wii FUSE. Chage the fuse. If you don't have the fuse, use soldering iron and join the palce you place the fuse together. If that didn't work again, Replace the wii motherboard. Trust me your wii will work this time and your MII you created will still be there because they are all on your harddrive not wii motherboard.

Help me please i have problems with my sistem x-530 logitech!!! i need to change the fusel i dont know

The speaker is designed for computer and not designed for playing at loud volume. Sound like you have blown a fuse, check the fuse on the back of the subwoofer and replace it with the same rating fuse. The speaker are only rated at 2 to 20 watts max, with the sub at full volume it did not have the power required to produce the sound thus blowing a fuse or burned out. The bass is the most power hungry of all the frequency, if you are using 5 watts and the note spikes to double your amp has to have 50 watts of power to produce the sound. Hopefully it was only the fuse, good luck.

What is the fuse for this subwoofer Altec Lansing ACS 300.1 ?

The fuse is for the amplifier. The fuse will tell you the amp rating on it. If the amp for some reason gets a power jump or if something fails the fuse will blow and save your amplifier from getting damaged. Do not put a higher rating fuse in there this will only damage your equipment. It will not make it louder.

Keyboard is dead how do you check for the fuses in kw3500 casiop

First I would check to ensure it is the keyboard and not the port on the motherboard. Get a working keyboard and plug it in if it works then you know it is the keyboard and not the motherboard.Turn the keyboard over remove the back cover and check for a fuse in the +5VDC. Just as a hint: on these types of keyboards the fuse will blow if you unplug or plug it in with the power on...if changing the fuse does not fix it then the motherboard has to be replaced as you cannot change the port. Let me know if you have any questions.
