You have a problem with your "buffer" boards inside your tv. there are several different ( 4 or 5
) ones inside. it may also be your controller board, only a tv service technician will be able to answer this question after a look see

Lines in right side of screen

You have a board connected on the side and another on top.. the board controls your horisontal lines and your side board controls your vertical.. Afte using the television for some time the board gets very hot and the solder gets damaged. You get what is called cold solder preventing the electrical current to pass. You need to retouch with solder but do it carefully. its best if you know some one with soldering experience. That will solve your problem. you can get more details at www.bestdirectorysolutions.com

Vertical rainboow lines on the left half of the screen

its likely that the lower y-drive panel has died.this is a very common problem with this model.the easy way is to remove the panel from the set completely, power it up and you should be greeted with the top half of the picture.this means ic failure, usually the bottom one for some odd reason.not replaceable unless you have the gear, these ics are available from dalbani(nikkai)for those interested.be extra careful with the four ribbon cables when removing/refitting.damage to these writes off the display panel.

Thin blue line

I am a Sharp Servicing Technician. You posted this before. Ive got the same model TV as you do LC46D62U. I think the line you are experiencing is simply the broadcast. I notice it on some HD shows that broadcast the side bars. (Always on the Ellen Degeneres Show). Ive taken some picture.

1) Here's the line on the left that i experience

2) Later on in the broadcast, it goes away.

One way to check if its a TV problem or not. When the line shows up again, hit the MENU button on the remote. If the line appears to be "behind" the menu, then it is simply the broadcast.

If the line appears to be "on top" of the menu or shows right through the menu, then it is a TV problem.

Im thinking the reason it takes hours for hte line to appear is because it only shows up on certain shows or certain HD broadcasts.

Autiovox lcd Half the screen turns blue the other half has virtical lines in it.

Typical of the glue that holds the circuit to the screen coming loose.
it will take a very good repairman to fix this and he will have to know where to find the glue, its special with microbeads embedded.
