    Thanks for yours tips¡

I have tried with differents HDD (new and used but in good conditions) all I have placed them in " master " and the problem still continue. I placed 08 and the display shows "test mode" in some cases is not possible put 690 because it is freezes. In all the tests, I put 08, after 690 and never changes to "system mode". Again is freeze¡

in fact only the mode 01 ( light test) works¡¡.

I can do the serial conection with a PC, it works very good, but
    I don't have Program dates sysfirm.tz - Fixed UI uidataF.tz dates - Common UI uidata0.tz dates - 1st language UI uidata1.tz dates - 2nd language UI uidata2.tz dates - 3rd language UI uidata3.tz dates - 4th language UI uidata4.tz dates - 5th language UI uidata5.tz dates to upgrade the firmware.

I am going to check the firmware version but I thing that it is old less than 17¡

    Thanks Again¡¡

Error F-10 = HDD problem

F-10 fix; do 08-690 which will probably get the machine running again unless the HD is totally fried. You can replace the hard drive with any hd as long as the firmware version is 17 or higher. If you take off the inner tray you can see it buried in the middle under a plate and a board. Make sure that the HDD is set to 'master' when replacing.

Test mode D comes up in toshiba e studio 207 by pressing 0 and 8 button during power on the machine a test mode D comes up so what I do ?

Practically you can exit by pressing 0&9 together and it will come to ready mode. You will see this kind of display only when you want to enter the service mode, now you will have to enter a value eg., if your machine gives error c44, then you can go to service mode and then enter 400 to reset the error.
