Question about Printers & Copiers
I have a studio 35 with F10 error, the problem is: When The machine is in test mode (08) the display is freezing and is not possible to run it to system mode¡ Is possible that is necesary update the firmware? I have connection between the PC and Copier, but I do not have the files¡ Help?
Error F-10 = HDD problem
F-10 fix; do 08-690 which will probably get the machine running again unless the HD is totally fried. You can replace the hard drive with any hd as long as the firmware version is 17 or higher. If you take off the inner tray you can see it buried in the middle under a plate and a board. Make sure that the HDD is set to 'master' when replacing.

Lets try the following.
(1) Check if the connectors of the hard drive are disconnected.
(2) Check if the connectors pins are disconnected or the wires of the harnesses are broken.
(3) Perform the bad sector check (08-694).If the check result is failed, please replace the hard drive.
(4) Before you replace the hard drive do a format (08-690).
To do this please switch off the machine.
While holding down 0+8 buttons switch the machine on, when in test mode input 690 and press the start button.
