SOURCE: start button not working on whirlpool cabrio

It sounds like your thermal fuse is out. You can check it for continuity with an ohm meter, make sure your dryer is unplugged first! Or you can take the wires off the thermal fuse and use electrical tape to tape them together to see if it will come on.
CLICK HERE for the TECH SHEET on your washer... and HERE to see the thermal fuse.

Sometimes the plastic start button can break a little tab off the back as well, so check it as well.

Thanks for using Fixya - a 4 THUMBS rating is appreciated for answering your FREE question.

SOURCE: Will start the wash cycle and DL come on and light

Hi,

"dl"indicates a door lock error. A Door Lock Error occurs if the door cannot be unlocked. It will try to lock it 6 times before displaying the error.
Check for the following when dl occurs:

  • Door Lock Mechanism broken.

  • Check Door Lock/Switch Assembly for foreign objects

  • Check Wire Harness connections to the Door Lock/Switch Assembly and Central Control Unit (CCU)

  • Door Lock/Switch Assembly Failure

Thank you !!

My washer cabrio whirlpool do not rinse after wash theres a code F1

Hi, just to let you know - I called 1-800-253-1301 and explained that this is regarding the infamous Cabrio - F1 problem that hundreds of people have complained about all over the internet and apparently is a common problem. The lady (KIM) acknowledged that Whirlpool is having this issue and she immediately scheduled a Service Tech appointment for tomorrow. She confirmed that the service call and any part will be picked up by Whirlpool.

Take care

Whirlpool cabrio washing machine

FL error code generally means 'flood condition' which is telling you the machine is overfilling with water with water.

Try pressing STOP/CANCEL to clear the display.

If the condition persists the water fill valve or sensor may be faulty and may need replacement.
