How to become a web head?

With countless so called "computer geeks" becoming rich and famous through the Internet economy, an image of computer geekdom may command a certain degree of respect from your friends and colleagues.

But you don't need to spend a lifetime breathing Ethernet and eating shell scripts to play geek for your friends.

Learn the latest computer and networking lingo and work it into casual conversation.
Pretend you make sense.

Leave your phone off the hook for hours to create the illusion that you're spending a great deal of time logged on to the Internet, especially if your friends aren't aware that most true computer geeks don't use a dial-up Internet connection.

Regale your friends with amusing anecdotes about your chat room adventures. Make extremely esoteric jokes about programming languages and alternative operating systems.

The jokes don't have to make sense; your friends won't know what you're talking about either way.
Create your own Web page.
If necessary, use an HTML editor, but tell your friends that you programmed it yourself.
Establish at least three separate e-mail accounts. Carry current issues of various computer magazines and serials dealing with computers, the Internet and other technological matters around with you wherever you go.

You don't need to really read them; just pepper your speech with terms used therein. Get involved in other hobbies that are often associated with computer geekdom, such as comic books, trading card games, online gaming and anime (Japanese animation).

ZyXEL P-330W wireless router

No it will not work you cannot connect a router to another router wirelessly and it will most likely not be detecting each other, routers are built to transmit internet signals from modems if you have a router and a computer but you do not have your own internet connection that will not work conencting to another router you will need USB Wifi Card transmitter/reciever to be able to connect to your friends wireless internet.

but if your friend only has a modem you can lend him your router and get a USB wifi transmitter/reciever to be able to connect to your router that is conencted to your friends modem this will work but will not work if you and you friend will both have a router creating a network.

Nothing to worry about. This usually happens when either the connection is lost or no data is being sent or received via internet. make sure that your internet connection is working perfectly!

Friend used our pin number to access internet

You should not have given your friend your pin number. He has access to your Internet account and has locked you out.
Contact your Internet Service Provider and explain what has happened and get them to change your account login password. Then follow their instructions to setup your Belkin router.

Hi, I purchased two units of logitech cordless

Your friend should be able to use the headset if your friend's computer has Bluetooth feature. THe computer will send and receive the Bluetooth signals with one transmitter/receiver like your computer does and then connect to the wireless lan with a different transmitter/receiver system on a different frequency. Just make sure your friend's computer has Bluetooth feature turned on and then setup the headset by the "pairing" process.

Wireless connection

Settings must have changed and not not changed back, set your friends settings as default settings. He may have accidently reset something etc.

A quick solution is to go to
System Restore and reset it back a day before you gave it to your friend.

go to START > PROGRAMS >
ACCESSORIES > SYSTEM TOOLS and you'll find SYSTEM RESTORE there. Click on it and find the option to set your Notebook to an EARLIER TIME. After selecting that from the list find a date BEFORE YOU LOANDED THE NOTEBOOK TO YOUR FRIEND and left click on it and follow the instructions and your COmputer will restore the system to that earlier date (it could be 1 day before you loaned it). You will not lose any files etc.

After it goes through a cycle of rebooting etc and it resets to the earlier date, your Network should work as it did before you loaned it to your friend.

If you have trouble finding SYSTEM RESTORE go to HELP and look for a link there.

Good Luck !
Cheers !
