you take the cable that you had hardwired to your pc and put that ethernet cable in the routers lan port.. if you want to set up wep keys then you need to access the router to do that using its ip address once you have connect to it wirelessly jsut remember to use the same key on every device that connects to it or they will not be able to use the router

hi iv got a sitecom wl-143 wireless router and a phillips snb5600, both of which support wds, i have given both the routers te same ssid and they are on the same channel, they also have the same wpa2 key, one is a dhcp server the other should therefore pick up a ip for all computers connected to it. i have also added the mac addresses to each of the routers for the wds. how ever they will not connect. my computer connected to the second router (sitecom wl-143) sees the router as a gateway but it doesnt connect or give out ip addresses. any ideas?
