This is a problem with the HD's, which if you check via the browser, then advanced/storage will show the drives as good but unassigned. Only course of action is to try and totally reboot the unit to default which will lose all your data:-( but If this fails you will need a RMA from WD.

Recovering from Degraded Volume
Twice now I've received a scary blinking red light on my ShareSpace 8TB unit, logging in to the administration on the unit it declared that I had a "degraded volume" I'm not sure what the cause was, perhaps a power failure while data was being written to one of the drives causing them to get out of sync. (I have 8tb, setup in two volumes of Raid 1) Anyway, here's what's worked for me both times.
Log into admin
Go To Advanced
Go To Storage
Go to Disk Manager
Clean affected Disk
Go To System
The degraded volume will now Resync with it's partner (Raid1) volume after a period of type. (you can track the progress by going to Storage, Volumes & Raid Management and click on "Recovering"
