Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

SOURCE: Kenmore dishwasher, model 665.170 344 01. "Clean" light keeps flashing and will not stop. Have tried everything in the manual and the light still will not stop flashing.

If the clean light flashes 7 times, pauses then repeats...

If the dishwasher doesn't sense a water temperature increase, it will stop working and lock the functions (clean light flashes 7 times, all buttons are non responsive).

To resolve this you will have to reset the console. Do this by closing the door and press these buttons in sequence...

-high temp wash
-heated dry
-high temp wash
-heated dry

...all the lights will turn on briefly and the machine will start a diagnostic cycle. You can press cancel or let the diagnostic cyle finish (1-2 minutes).
You should now be able to run the dishwasher as normal.

If the issue returns, you could have a problem with the heating circuit (ie. element, thermostat or wiring). It rarely happens but it could also be the door switch not engaging properly when the door is closed (slightly bend the door latch down making sure it doesn't hit the door when you close it).

SOURCE: Kenmore 665 dishwasher blinking clean light

you'll need to enter a diagnostic mode, press in this order, hi-temp(sani-rinse)----heated dry--hitemp---heated dry... all lights should light, close door and let cycle for about a min, after press the cancelbutton, you should be good to go, the buttons on your model may read slighty different names, if this "toggle of buttons" does not work, you can remove thelower access panel and htere willl be a tech sheet/trouble shoooter behind the panel, in there it will explain how to enter diag/test mode

SOURCE: Loud Buzzing Sound from Dishwasher

have you ever seen green led "Clean" light flashing? before or about the same time the buzzing sound started? and if so that would indicate that the control senses a fault in the temperature rise during the heating cycle and that the electronic control could be reset by initiating a service diagnostic cycle.(which is what you were trying to do) pls reread your manual there are times during that sequence that some buttons have to be pushed at the same time and within a certain amount of time..possible that your machine also has a bad timer which would give you a buzzing noise..if thats the case I would recommend replacing the cpu or control board..or the machin all together..The Kenmore Ultra Wash Quiet Guard name is sears but whirpool has the contract to produce all "kenmore products.hope that helps.

Faulty User Interface. (A). Disconnect power and replace LCD display and console.
Always unplug or de-energize electrical equipment before removing covers or attempting service. Be careful and wear appropriate hand protection when working around sharp metal parts.

Replacement motor arrived. Slightly different. The old motor had a proprietary kenmore electrical connection.

What this can be?

If your dishwasher is hardwired... not using a plug-in type connection, it could very well be that the polarity of the wires is wrong. The washer will still work, it just won't work as it was designed to. (The plus and minus wires need to be reversed in the hardwiring.) Turn off the circuit breaker and open up the faceplate first. Use a screwdriver lamp circuit tester to determine if the red, black wires are connected to right supply wires. Green is always ground in the USA. The other possibility is that you placed you dishwasher too close to the oven and it's holding too much heat from it. Are you sure, the fuze you replaced is the proper slow-blo type; i.e., proper amps at rated voltage?

Float Switch

The float switch may be hung up and this can cause the dishwasher to be stuck in a cycle. 87af5b68-272e-404a-951c-cd453d3cd7fe.jpg

Timer / Control

If your dishwasher gets stuck in a cycle first try shutting off the breaker for at least 5 minutes if this does not correct the problem you will need to replace the timer/electronic control

Once dishwasher starts wash cyle, it keeps running wash cyle indefinitely. what do i need to do

Possible that the diswasher control panel is not in order and is a suspect. remove power for some to reset the board. Try with different program and if the same action continues check with the panel board before you can think of swapping to confirm the case.

I replaced the cooling temp sensor 3wks ago and my check engine

Sometimes it is not the sensor's fault, but a wire in the circuit, or a connection at the plug.  Look for damage.   Did you buy an authentic Chevy part? Beware of cheap aftermarket electrical parts, they don't always meet the correct specs---
