Question about Kenmore 63942 Dryer
I have a kenmore dryer and the starter switch needs to be replaced. I have the new part, but my problem is that I can't get the old switch off... It seems to be 'locked in' please help me. IF you could describe how to get the old switch off, I would appreciate it.
Depending on age of unit.. there are 2 screws on each side of the console (older unit) on newer unit you have 2 white plastic covers.. pop those out and unscrew the 2 screws and lift up the console.. you have to get to the starter switch from the back of console.. good luck..
