Hi, sorry to hear you are having problems.
The cheapest and simplest way is to buy a USB audio card
http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=97120
If you wish to pursue the driver then
1. start up your pc and when it shows the BIOS information quickly press the 'Pause Break' key on your keyboard
this stops the PC from starting up, write down the numbers you see.
To make the PC carry on use the Enter or return key
You can keep booting it if you hit the pause key at the wrong time.
Go here
http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/support/download.php
look for you motherboard number, match it up with the number you have written down from the start up.
If you cannot find a match you will have to remove the cover on the PC case that it furthest from the sockets at the back and look in with a torch and hunt around for the motherboard name which is printed on the motherboard.
Then go back to here
http://www.biostar-usa.com/app/en-us/support/download.php
and under motherboards click on the right name.
The name.numbers may have other characters/numbers before or after the key name.
EG: a 770E is a TA770E Version 6.x
There you will find all the drivers.
Download the audio one and you can then run it or install it.
All the best, Phil
