Welcome...
You need to look up near the top of the cabinet front, there are screws way up near the top on each side that secure the front panel to the cabinet. Take them out and tip the front forward and then pull up. be careful of the door switch wires.
if you need a comprehensive service manual for that dryer, it can be found here:

How do you get the front panel off a fisher paykel dryer to replace the felt seal

my F&P front load dryer would not start - it would hum when I pushed the start button. After trial and error taking the top off, then the front panel with the door I found the lint exhaust was completely blocked. After doing a thorough cleaning of the dryer and putting it back together it worked! (note: DE60 Elba dryer)

Bought dryer In October 2007. Now the auto-dry cycle is not doing the job. Clothes are still quite damp when cycle shuts off. The lint bucket is not full and we cleaned out area leading to it along...

You may need to reset the breaker for the heating elements or clean and check the continuity contacts. Go to http://fisherpaykelparts.net/techhelp/fisher-paykel-top-load-dryers-us-models/ This forum will work you through your problem

The lint trap door won't come out. It is like there is a interlock that won't allow it to be pulled out and cleaned.

Fisher paykel smartload dryer degxius does not dry cloths. Drum is hot, and lint basket is empty. I have cleaned lint out behind lint basket.

Check and make sure that your exhaust tube and outside vent are not clogged. If they are clean them out and you may have to buy and new lint screen that come with a seal whcih will solve your problem. Front load dryer make a horrid squeaking sound as it goes around. Heat's great - it just squeaks!

There are nylon or cloth type guide bushings(bearings) at the front of the drum which may be worn. The drum rides on these to keep it suppurted. You can replace from retailer and or try to lubricate with silicone spray.

Fisher & Paykel DEGX2 Dryer. Need heating element changed?

I had the same problem. Everyone continued to tell me that I needed a new heating element, clean lint trap, etc. However, I took the front off of the dryer and located the heating element. On the front of the heating element, in between two wires, there is a red button. Push the button and you might hear a click that sounds similar to a circuit breaker. It is a reset button for the heating element. Try that and it might help.

Lint assembly-Fisher and Paykel DEGX1

Pretty easy on the lint assy;
Remove the lint cup;
Find screw (5) in a recess at the bottom of the lint cup area;
This will allow removal of the perforated lint surround, and the 'lint scraper'; Also will expose the moisture sensor (3) hanging off wires at the bottom of the assy;
At the bottom of the surround there is another recessed phillips screw; remove this, then twist the surround (14) counter-clockwise about 1/2" and remove to expose the filter (13).

Not sure on the reset- I do know the top swivels up after removing the two screw caps and screws at the front of the unit on either side. This exposes the underside of the control panel; there are screws at the back of the control panel also.
