i can confirm this same issue with my front loading samsung washer.

For 5 hours this morning, a delicate load continues to stop at the 4 minute mark.

Have tried start the spin cycle over and over, even tried unplugging for a few minutes to clear any possibility there.

    Any suggestions out there?

Same problem with multiple (small) loads.dc shows spin cycle. Even tried "spin only" and clothes are constantly sopping wet.

Thanks for the tip on getting it to spin...we'll be trying it shortly (whenever the machine gives up and displays the dc code...) This is our 2nd machine with this problem. It should be interesting to hear what Samsung has to say about this next...we're NOT happy. I think ours is model WF218 though, fyi.

I have the exact same symptom with mine that is only 4 months old. I have a technician coming as soon as the part is available. The problem is the PCB control board. Samsung has corrected a known issue with the original and has manufactured a new one. This is a known issue and thus the part is hard to get. I have, however found a temporary fix. Unplug the machine for about a half an hour. I haven't figured out how long to do it exactly but when you plug it back in it should read PF for power failure. It's the equivalent of a reboot for your pc. I got about 3 days of service from the machine before it stopped spinning again. Another reboot and I'm back in business.

Well my solution posted before is not bullet proof. However, what I have been doing since is when the wash cycle has gotten to the point where the dc error occurs, I hit the power button to turn it off. I then press the Spin+Soil level+Power buttons at the same time. All LED's light up. This is a diagnostic mode. When the display reads F4 turn the slector knob clockwise one notch. The display now reads SPn (spin). Press Start/Pause and you will get a complete spin out of the machine.

I also used the diagnostic mode, however I had to turn the knob several notches counterclockwise to find SPn (spin). I was able to manually start the spin and then manually stop it when the clothes looked like the water was gone.

We had the same problem. We ordered the washer on Black Friday and just got it this past Sunday. We put laundry in and it would not spin. We got the dc code. We have been on the phone with Sears for the week. A repairman came out to look at the washer today. He couldn't find anything wrong and had to call the tech people for help. They said if the washer is in a space that is below 60 degrees it won't spin because the oil in the back of the drum is too thick when it is cold. They have to order a new board to heat the oil. We thought they were crazy. So we did our own experiment and put a heater in the basement. The washer worked! Now we are just waiting for the new board to see if that solves the problem so we don't have to heat the basement just to wash clothes. I am glad we can at least heat the basement and wash clothes until the part comes. I will post after it has a new board!

SOURCE: Samsung front loading washing machine won't spin out.

I just had exact the same thing happen to me. We had it for a year with no problem but lately sometimes it would get stuck in the spin cycle at 9 min like you described. I had tried all day on just one load and it wouldn't spin. After I saw your post about the washer need to be 60 degree or higher, I went and ran a empty load on normal with warm/warm and let it complete the entire cycle. I then put the clothes back in on spin cycle and it worked!! I later check my unfinished basement and sure enought it was at 55 degree. With all the snow VA had, it has been cold last month, but I too agree that we should be able to wash our clothes at unfinshed basement that would sometimes get below 60.

Ds codemkeeps coming up even though the door is shut

The "dc" error code indicates an unbalanced load is preventing your washer from spinning properly. Try redistributing the load, then press the Start/Pause button. If the load appears well-distributed, you may need to make adjustments to the leveling legs to make sure the washer is properly leveled, removing the clothes and running a spin only cycle to make the necessary adjustments. Once firmly leveled, be sure the plastic leg locks are tightened to prevent them from vibrating loose.

UL bravo error code

Unbalanced load? Don't over stuff the washer. The load sensing moves the drum back and forth at the start. If it can't balance the load it will err.

What does"ue " mean?

UNBALANCE ERROR - Display shows UE.Laundry load is unbalanced, manually loosen any tangled laundry.
If only one item of clothing needs washing, such as a bathrobe or jeans, the final spin result might be unsatisfactory and an UE error message will be shown in the display. Unbalance error is cleared by POWER switch OFF and back ON.

Samsung washer wf218anb/xaa has code dc and wont spin clothes they are still wet

The DC error code is an unbalanced laundry error. Try putting less clothes in and if that doesn't fix the problem, then replace the hall sensor( located behind the drum, underneath the rotor).

Washer does not finish stops at spin and it displays a 'dc' code...what is this

The Service Manual for reference. Sears Parts Direct for reference.
dC code from the Service Manual = Distribute Clothes: The load is unbalanced, preventing high speed spin. Redistribute clothes.
Your wash tub is banging around during the spin cycle correct?
You can redistribute the wash basket load until the cows come home the issue will only continue to get worse. Maybe start throwing uC error codes to the console display for continuous unbalance error code.

UE is likely an unbalanced load or load is too large. Reduce the size of the load and your issue should be resolved.
