Go to the bottom right of your monitor and to the left of the time & date see if there is a speaker. If so click on it and it will bring up a volume control , then you can increase the volume.
Hope this helps. Bud

Sound plays but very low volume even if plug to speakers and amplifier and full volume, you hardly hear anything. Hoping for a solution. Regards,

right click on the speaker icon in the system tray on the bottom right side of the screen and then click to open the volume mixer then make the speaker sound level to 100 %.

or go to the control panel from there click on the sound or speaker icon to open it after that go to properties and then make the volume level to 100%.

This should help to fix the problem.

Crackling instead of sound...???

Try not to have 100% of the volume. (try 85% instead)

If you use VLC you should be careful and not raise the volume in VLC too much since that software is able to amlify 400% which easy can lead to the cracking sounds from the speaker/headphone you are describing.

No sound form aspire 6935g subwoofer

You may want to check the speaker settings themselves within the control panel (Sound Audio Devices + hit the Advanced button under speaker settings). Chances are the current setting is for stereo desktop speakers, you should change it to settings that more closely match your hardware setup...

Post your results here.
